Dear Brothers and Sisters:

May the love of God and our True Parents be with you all. Our True Parents are here with us in America and they are deeply concerned that we can be united in heart with them and work together with them to guide our nation toward fulfilling God's will. Our national president and pastor, Rev. In Jin Moon, is in absolute unity with our True Parents and is encouraging all of us to support their every direction.

Thank you for your prayers and support for the people of Haiti at this difficult and tragic time. There has been an overwhelming response of support from our American families.

I want to encourage you to give your complete support for the upcoming national ACLC Convocation/Women in Ministry Annual Meeting and 2010 Awards Gala and Celebration Banquet, which are taking place this weekend in New Jersey and in New York. These are very important events which will set the tone for 2010 and for the next 3 years in America.

Last year In Jin Nim saw the potential of ACLC to become a movement for religious freedom and civil and human rights, similar to that of Martin Luther King, Jr. She still remembers very clearly the march and activities in Washington, DC, together with pastors and leaders that showed their support for True Father at the time of Danbury prison.

Last week Rev. Jenkins, Rev. Edwards and their wives and Archbishop Stallings met with In Jin Nim to share about the work of ACLC, Women in Ministry and the upcoming events this weekend. In Jin Nim was very moved and happy to meet with them. She shared about their commitment enthusiastically when she spoke to nearly 400 young people at the CARP Winter Ball on January 8.

With the theme "Rebuild the family, Restore the community, and Renew the nation and the world," ACLC has a very important and providential role to play and the ministers can feel it especially at these convocations where they can hear God's word and understand more of the mission of ACLC. In Jin Nim would like for ACLC to play a central role in championing the issue of human rights violations, especially concerning our brothers and sisters in Japan and the deprogramming/faith-breaking activities there over the last several decades. She would like for ACLC to work closely with CARP to introduce this issue across America on our college campuses.

Brothers and sisters, there are just a few days remaining before the Gala and Convocation; we need your support to ensure a great success. I hope you can feel the call to be part of this event. If you haven't registered or registered your ministerial contacts please do so. If you are able to help support others to attend, your generosity will help very much and go along way at this time. We have been encouraging our second generation to attend in order to inherit the foundation and feel a sense of ownership.

Let us join together with In Jin Nim as she pours out her love in sharing True Parents' vision and heart to all who attend. God bless you.

Sincerely,

Rev. Joshua Cotter
