"One Global Family Under God" Supporting UNIDP

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

I hope you are keeping up with True Parents' news from NY. In order to lend support to the UPF activities and conferences this month, we are creating the opportunity for all FFWPU, ACLC, WFWP, YFWP, CARP, members and friends from around America and the world, to join in one voice on or around September 21st to celebrate the U.N. International Day of Peace, emphasizing "One Global Family Under God".

Our Founders have made a life-long effort to establish world peace. An extra special effort has been made during the past six months in the Jubilee Year of 2007, to build a solid foundation for the substantial launch of the Abel UN at the September 21-25 Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Assembly in New York City.

Unprecedented efforts have been made by our True Parents, such as sending special Japanese envoys to 120 nations to assist in securing the official support of nations. The United States will also mobilize dignitaries and political leaders to the UPF Assembly. Still the question arises: How can America show strong support for this noble providential effort?

The encapsulation of our Founder's message of peace is found in the phrase "One Family Under God". Lasting world peace can not be realized until humankind recognizes that we are in fact all part of one global family under God, and then, live accordingly. America was created by God as the microcosm of the world, with all races, nationalities and faiths included in its make-up. America is uniquely tasked to be the living illustration of "One Family Under God".

In order to support the 62nd anniversary of the U.N. International Day of Peace, our movement is organizing prayer vigils, rallies and festivals in all 50 states and some cities.

Please support one or more of the following events that we are organizing: (See attached flyers)

Saturday 15th - Norfolk, VA In conjunction with the ACLC Prayer Breakfast.

Please bring your families and friends along with any "Peace Slogan" signs and placards. For questions to volunteer or confirm your attendance and/or that of your guest(s), please call.

I hope that you will be able to support this providential effort and that we can bring joy to our True Parents on this International Day of Peace.

May God bless you and your families.
