Today, Tuesday, July 11th, 2006, we had our monthly ACLC Prayer Breakfast at the CRT Golden Lamb Rest Home, where Bishop Willie Davis, Jr. was the host pastor. There were 8 religious leaders and pastors and 4 FFWPU members present, making a total of 12 people.

Brother John, dedicated pastor of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in King, North Carolina, gave the words of welcome and the invocation prayer. Then we enjoyed a great breakfast prepared by Tracy, who is an experienced chef at the rest home. After the great meal, I asked everybody to introduce themselves shortly so everyone could get to know one another. Then several pastors shared the reading "Goals and Objectives of ACLC". It spelled out the work very clearly and set a good foundation for the message of the day given by our host pastor, Bishop Willie Davis, Jr.

The Bishop poured his heart out to make us understand the importance of men and women obeying God. We must be born again and live Christ-like. God does not differ between race, nationality, or denomination. He said, "I used to be very particular about denomination, but not anymore. We are all one family and our main concern is that we are all reborn in Christ. God wants us also to be humble. He is not looking for power, knowledge, or money – he is looking for people with humility. Our strength comes from God. Without God we are nothing. We have hospitals to heal our body and the church is the hospital for our soul. I am very sure about the special anointing Father Moon received from Jesus. He has shown so much love for humanity. I live by that principle Father Moon is always emphasizing: ‘Live for the sake of others’. I will never forget the love I have witnessed while attending the different conferences held by the members of the Unification Church many years ago. Love is so powerful and it speaks louder than many words." When the Bishop concluded, everyone could feel the Holy Spirit present in the room.

Pastor Ardeal Roseboro then gave a testimony about his wonderful time in Israel. He and his wife had attended the last pilgrimage to Jerusalem. He encouraged all other pastors to go if they have not gone yet.

We concluded with announcements about ACLC in the Bahamas and the planned potluck dinner at Pastor Fermin’s house, where we will wish our past Regional Leader, Rev. Dr. Cho and his family, a happy farewell and also recognize "Parents of Excellence" in honor of the upcoming National Parent’s Day.

Rev. Ardeal Roseboro closed us out with a prayer. The pastors were happy. God is real.
