The information appended below pertains to the Special 40-Day Witnessing Campaign for this second year of Cheon Il Guk. Please mobilize your members accordingly and encourage them to invest fully to bring in a rich harvest at this most auspicious time in the Providence.

Special 40-Day Witnessing Campaign in the 2nd Year of Cheon Il Guk

1. Meaning and Purpose

1.1 To establish the foundation of complete settlement of Cheon Il Guk by proclaiming the glory of the victorious True Parents to the whole world in the 2nd Year of Cheon Il Guk.

1.2 To establish the foundation of complete settlement of Cheon Il Guk through the activity of tribal restoration and to fulfill one's mission as a tribal messiah.

1.3 To propagate the tradition of the ideal family centered on the Blessing through Blessing witnessing activities.

1.4 To dedicate one's witnessing results before Heaven based on upholding the historical tradition of the Special 40-Day Witnessing Campaign inherited from Korea.

2. Period: 1 July - 9 August 2002 (40 days)

3. Participants: All members over 16 years old worldwide.

4. Purpose of witnessing

4.1 Each family to complete the organization and education of 36 tribal families, and to activate the organization of 72 families

4.2 Each family to guarantee one single blessing candidate

5. Main Contents of Activity

5.1 Tribal restoration activity (Tribal organization activity)

5.1.1 Tribal Divine Principle workshop implementation

5.1.2 Hoon Dok membership registration

5.1.3 Cheon Il Guk identity card issuance

5.2 Blessing activity

5.2.1 Enrolment of participants in introductory seminar on the Blessing

5.2.2 Enrolment of participants in Divine Principle workshop

5.2.3 Each family to guarantee at least one blessing candidate

5.2.4 Implementation of revival meetings and evening DP workshops by each church.

6. Mobilization guidelines

6.1 Generally, registered mobilized members are to work in their respective mission areas in Korea assigned to them at the end of their registration blessing workshops.

6.2 Return to hometown to develop tribal messiah activities.

6.3 Where circumstances render it difficult or impossible to witness in one's mission area, one can apply for leave from the mission area church leader to witness within the area of the church that one is attending.

7. Administrative matters

7.1 In each country, the national leader and local leaders should hold a launching ceremony to mark the start of the campaign.

7.2 Each nation is asked to draw up its plans for the Special 40-Day Witnessing Campaign (program of activities; mobilization schedule; detailed schedules of revival meetings, introductory seminars on the Blessing, Divine Principle workshops, tribal workshops) and submit them to this office by 30 June 2002.
