Japan: My Witnessing Experience

I recently experienced how important it is for me to invest myself instead of just sacrifice myself. When I was taking care of my guest, I noticed she wrote ‘Living for the Sake of Others Purely’ in our shimjung diary. All of a sudden, tears overflowed through my eyes. I remembered a prayer I had prayed earlier asking God, "Please let me meet the person who can live for the sake of others" before I meet with my guest. I realized how much Heavenly Father must prepare the people whom he needs. I could be so proud of my guest knowing confidently that she is making such a strong effort toward her goal. I strongly wished that she could become the person who can come to know and respond to God’s desire.

She shared with me that she could meet God through an experience she had at her school. God was speaking to her through students and teachers while she was giving a speech in class. Things like "You’re doing alright!" or "Calm Down!" Before she began to speak she offered a prayer that she could energize people instead of just caring about how she looked. I could learn so much from her because she is trying with such a humble attitude. I too felt that I should start from a zero point again with the humble heart and attitude of a child.

For the first time, I had a three-day fasting condition. At that time, I felt so much that it’s very important how much heart I can offer to God instead of thinking just how much I can sacrifice. It was my battle of how to restore the position of an extended member of the True Family by denying myself. I realized that True Father’s path was like a three-legged race with God who was totally living for the sake or others with an attitude of investing and forgetting, investing and forgetting. My only wish is that I will live my life for God, True Parents and True Family. I will offer my utmost sincerity at this time in history in order to meet his expectation of me.
