Anyonghaseyo, dear brothers and sisters!
Here again some inspiration, based on the words of True Family:
True Father: "I must make you into fighters. You should not be people who are resigned to being here or who reluctantly, passively approach your responsibilities. I must transform you into people who just can't help but live this way of life. You must be born champions, born revolutionaries." [1]
What then is our weapon?
True Father: "Our battle is not the knife battle or the gun battle or the fist battle. Our battle is that of love. Love is our weapon." [2]
Our weapon must be love, divine love, true love. That is the strongest weapon one can imagine, strong enough to change the whole world. With divine love every obstacle can be overcome. This love needs to be perfected, in our own hearts, and we all have the potential to do this:
True Father: "We must become perfected individuals who match the standard of original, perfected individuality. To do this, we must continually revolutionize ourselves and fulfil our given responsibilities." [3]
To perfect our love we need to constantly revolutionize ourselves. Then we become revolutionaries of love and can easily fight the battle of love, because our love grows and grows. Revolutionizing ourselves means to train ourselves in loving the way God does, unchangingly, unconditionally, ready to forgive everyone, embracing and uplifting everyone, deeply respecting everyone.
Perfecting our love is our first responsibility. Nothing is more important than this. It makes us embodiments of God's love and heart. It makes us people that God desires, people of God's original ideal, Kings and Queens of love.
Do we need to be instructed by anyone to do this? Or can we just reluctantly go about that task?
True Father: "I want you to become subject and out of your own desire take the initiative with no one forcing you to do anything... I never want to feel that you are just following my instructions but rather that you have really perfected yourself in the image of God on your own initiative." [1]
We need to do this out of own desire and realization. Otherwise it does not work. Nobody can do it for us either, neither God nor True Parents nor Jesus. It is our sacred responsibility, given to us by our creator.
But we can get help... if we ask for it:
Heung Jin Nim: "You will emerge as a true son, a true daughter, and you will be a messiah for this world. You can do it now. I can help you, but you can do it! Ask for my help, and it will be given. If you don't know what to ask for, ask me what to ask for, and I will tell you." [4]
That certainly applies to Jesus and True Father as well. They all want to lift us up to their level of heart. But we need to ask them, invite them into our heart. That is our responsibility, apart from training our heart continuously and relentlessly.
If we ask them, they will help us to become the fighters and revolutionaries of love, just as our True Parents are and have always been their whole life and will always be. By becoming such people we will realize the very hope of God and True Parents. They are waiting for us to become like them, even better, in terms of love.
