Anyonghaseyo, dear brothers and sisters!
Here again an inspiration, based on the words of True Family:
True Father: "The first seven years [after the wedding of True Parents] were a period of trial in which negative power tried to destroy the family, concentrating mostly on Mother. Women were despising her and trying to destroy her in her mission... But Mother used my tactic and never made excuses or accused anyone, no matter how unjust people were toward her." [1]
What is True Father's "tactic"?
True Father: "When I was in Danbury [prison], I really liked them all. When people curse me, I just forget it."[2]
Heung Jin Nim: "He [True Father] just loves everybody, even the people that hate him, even the people that attack him, even the people who hurt him. My Father just keeps loving them..." [3]
True Father: "I was whipped brutally [in prison] while walking this path. Sometimes just thinking of what they did to me filled me with indignation. When I felt that way I just wanted to smash them all. But when I thought of God, I pitied my enemies. I knew that God still persisted in His affection for them and I resolved to love them more." [12]
This is the heart of God and True Parents, to keep loving no matter what. This is True Parents' most important teaching. It is the way for us to go:
True Father: "No matter how difficult is may be, you should inherit our True Parents' TRADITION to be patient and OVERCOME WITH TRUE LOVE. You cannot harbor any hatred or grudge. There is NO WAY you can, because God and True Parents have not done that. You should EXACTLY FOLLOW TRUE PARENTS' FOOTSTEPS... I am telling you this is the way to go. This is my MOST IMPORTANT TEACHING to you today on this Day of Victory of Love." [4]
Loving those that seem unlovable, loving the "enemy -- world", is the mission of True Parents. They committed their entire life for this mission:
True Father: "The True Father and True Mother have committed their lives for the sake of their mission, for embracing the enemy world." [5]
True Mother: "My husband and I have forgiven the unforgivable and, for the sake of humanity, loved enemies unlovable... No matter how unjust the persecution we receive, we do not blame anyone, rather we love them. When we overcame ordeals in this manner, blessings that we could not even imagine took place." [11]
And it goes without saying that God and True Parents are waiting for us to do the same things, to develop the same heart:
True Father: "True Parents' love here on earth is like a formula or tradition. Anybody who follows that formula or tradition is bound to succeed. Not only will you succeed here on earth, but you will also succeed in spirit world....." [6]
Why will people who use that formula be successful? Because true love is the greatest power:
True Father: "My only principle is to live for the sake of loving mankind and God. When I act out of love, I find that somehow things get done. From experience I know that love is the greatest power." [7]
Through the power of heavenly love we can change the whole world. We can rid the world of all the resentments that cause conflict and war in so many places. We can establish God's ideal by the power of such a level of love. Only true love has that power. Only a love that loves the "enemy" can heal the world, nothing else can do this:
True Father: "If you put yourself in the position of God or Jesus -- trusting persons while they betray you, loving persons when they don't deserve it, wanting to live and care for those persons while they are not qualified -- the world will change." [8]
True Father: "Only love can bring the complete victory. Where there is love, there is eternal victory and the possibility to build the eternal kingdom of heaven. In the presence of love, everything is liberated. This is where I am heading." [9]
True Father: "With true love there is nothing you cannot do, nothing you cannot make. You can love even your enemy. The power of true love is not to fight, not to force, but to win over someone naturally. There is no power stronger than this." [10]
True Father: "In the spirit world when you enter the place where the bell of love rings in your heart, the light of your heart will grow steadily. This light will shine brilliantly in all the five colours. In God's eyes, it will look brighter and more beautiful than a diamond." [14]
It is in our hands to stand up to our true stature, become great bells of love and use heavenly love to change the world. We all have the potential to do this. We all can use the victorious formula of True Parents. Nothing can stop us if we decide to do so:
Heung Jin Nim: "Grow up to your true stature, as God's sons and daughters." [13]
