May 3, 2006, 'Purification Azalea festival for the Inheritance of Heavenly Fortune' began in Chung Pyung. This Special Workshop had important values since True Parents told the members to participate in this Festival in order to fulfill a providential condition for True Parents to enter the Original Palace. Therefore, many members from around the world came to attend the Purification Azalea Festival and to receive grace with the help of 280 billion Absolute Good Spirits and to fulfill True Parent's wishes.

There were members who came in advance of the Festival. These members went around Chung Pyung Training Center and enjoyed the bloomed Azalea and took many family photos. There was also time to visit the holy ground and offer Prayer-Wish Papers to Jeongshim Won Prayer Hall, so that on the last day of Purification Azalea Festival their ancestor's records will be cleansed.

The Festival officially started at 7 o'clock in the evening by President Do-sun Lim of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center. Many lectures were scheduled during the Purification Azalea Festival for members to have better knowledge of the church and Chung Pyung Training Center.

After the separation of evil spirits there was a special lecture by Rev. Sun-jo Hwang President of FFWPU-Korea. Rev. Hwang explained the true values of True Parents entering the Original Palace and that all Blessed families must cleanse themselves through the ¡®Purification Azalea Festival'. Then there was a lecture on ¡®The Grace of Purification Azalea Festival' by Rev. Myeong-gwan Lee, president of Department of Education and Planning. During this lecture Rev. Lee explained in detail of the meaning and special grace received from the Purification Azalea Festival.
