Priest or Prostitute?

In the past, I felt guilty of how I "enjoyed" an evil act, instead the wrong direction it took me away from God. In Divine Principle it says, it is not an action that determines, good or evil, but the "direction" it takes, exposing the wrong or right motivation. Bob Dylan says in a song, "..you may be a priest, or a prostitute… yet, you still got to serve somebody, it maybe the Devil or it may be the Lord!"

If we look from the point of view of the letter of the law, a priest is on the side of good and prostitute on the side of evil; yet, as it became obvious "after the fact", the prostitutes like "Rahab" in the Bible, actually were on God's side and Rabies who persecuted Jesus, were on Satan side.

So, we need not feel guilty for experiencing joy while doing an evil act, but we need to repent about the direction those actions took us toward evil, instead of God.
