National Leader of Philippines -- Kuya Rev Jun Basuil has passed away 8:30 am this morning Phil time. Standing beside him is his wife together with their three beloved blessed children.

Dear All,

Here is Dennis Wong from Malaysia. I am very shocked to receive a SMS a short while ago from my National Leader, Rev. Sam that a great brother, Kuya Rev. Jun Basuil has passed away after getting a stroke today as he is bounding back to Manila together with Continental Director Yong, Mr. Kim and Engr. Felix Sanchez after some business trips in Northern Luzon and Metro Manila.

The reason I'm feeling shocked is that Kuya Rev Jun Basuil came recently to Malaysia for the In Jin Nim and Kook Jin Nim events. There were two occasions we met each other -- one was at the main entrance of Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, welcoming In Jin Nim and Kook Jin Nim on their arrival on the 18 June 2011 at around 6 pm. When I saw Rev Jun Basuil from behind, I walked over and patted his shoulder. As he turned around, I quickly extended my hand-shake and greeted him warmly, "Welcome to Malaysia". He responded me with a bright smiling face and we spoke for a short while. At that time, he was wearing a dark blue coat with a white shirt and tie -- looking very smart and tall. To me, Kuya Rev Jun Basuil is a soft-spoken person with a warm humble heart.

The second occasion we met was at the UPF dinner event at Bankers Club, Kuala Lumpur, also around 6 pm on the 20 June 2011. We sat at the same round table opposite each other. As I noticed, Kuya Rev Jun Basuil was attentive throughout the event where In Jin Nim and Kook Jin Nim delivered speeches. He was seated beside a Taiwanese brother called Mr. Chen on his right and on his left was Mother Mangalam, our AFP. We call her mother because she is quite like mother Teresa of India. At this table, I saw Mother Mangalam praying on two instances by herself.

In the twinkling of an eye, Kuya Rev Jun Basuil was taken away to be with God and life seems so short. However, I believe his spirit of heart and love is with us helping God's providence especially in Philippines. His time, effort and sacrifice for God and True Parents shall be remembered by many. My heartfelt condolence to the beloved family of Kuya Rev Jun Basuil and all bro and sis in Philippines. May Heavenly Father, True Parents and the good spirit world continue to bless the people of Philippines.

CBMNOMS,
Dennis Wong and family.
