10 Virtues -- The Way of Real Champions

The Way of Real Champions trains youth in practical virtues that can be cultivated when playing football. Virtues are positive qualities of character and are exemplified in an individual's consistent good behavior. Youth learn about the formation, development, and maturity of character needed both to play the game to the best of their ability, and to consistently behave in an ethical way. The cultivation of virtues encourages excellence in school, in work, and in the community; it promotes care and consideration for other people. Youth develop to become good players, good friends, and good citizens. Learning to be of service for the good of others can open the door to peace. Although only a few players can become champions in football, through this program everyone can learn to become a "champion in life."
