World CARP Nepal Organizes First Tong-Il Moo-Do Seminar

by Leo C. Carumba

This was the 1st 7-day Tong-Il Moo-Do training in Nepal, which turned out to be quite successful. We started the training program from April 3 and concluded on April 10. There were 28 participants, and most of them have various backgrounds in other martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do and Shito Ryu Karate Do. The rest of the people were Tong-Il Moo-Do practitioners.

During the course of the training, I introduced and lectured the New Philosophy of TIMD. Participants were very happy about this philosophy because of its unique approach of understanding the purpose of martial arts. Also, they are inspired to hear the philosophy because it embraces all other thoughts of martial arts and their principles.

Every morning I allowed them to read the manual before training and requested them to share their reflections about it. The purpose of the training is to select the best practitioner to become the future TIMD Instructor for Nepal.

During the closing program and the end of the 7-day TIMD training, Mr. Jayant Chand, son of former Prime Minister of Nepal and Mr. Ek Nath Dhakal, Chairman of TIMD Nepal, came to observe the event. Nepal has lots of potential to develop TIMD in the future. Blessed children here are also starting to learn TIMD.
