The International Relief Friendship Foundation (IRFF) has initiated a project to provide aid and comfort to the thousands of Kosovar refugees who fled to Albania. This project will provide very specific aid -- as requested the USAID and the UNHCR. Therefore, we are seeking financial contributions in whatever amount that can be donated. All funds will go to purchase:

(1) Blankets (from a company in the United Kingdom)

(2) Ready-to-eat heater meals (from a company in the United States)

They will be distributed directly in Albania by IRFF. IRFF is cosponsoring this project with Women's Federation for World Peace and Christian Disaster Response (an international relief agency based in Florida).

Monetary contributions are the preferred form of donation at this time. However, should this be absolutely impossible, yet you wish to make a donation of some type, please contact: Dr. Kathy Winings at <IRFFint@aol.com>.

IRFF asks that you do not donate any other items without first talking with Dr. Winings as the needs of the refugees have been assessed and IRFF has a precise list of requested items.
