On February 23, 1977 (January 6 by the lunar calendar), in San Francisco, it was declared that history was in transition to a new era. The first year of the Kingdom of Heaven began from this day.

"Centered on February 23, 1977, the Unification Church finally  established a historic turning point from which God can officially take an offensive posture against the satanic world. That is the course that Reverend Moon has fulfilled. The entire foundation to represent the sphere of the worldwide Christian culture has been prepared. Therefore the legal battle of this historic era, in the name of religion, has begun. It was impossible before."
