There are many people on earth. Their hearts are waiting for the light. They are looking forward to the world that does not have tears and pain. They are waiting for that time of liberation. They are waiting for the man to come who will let people have that time. He is called Jin-In (True Man) in Confucianism, Miruk-Bul(Budda), the Messiah, the Lord of the Second Advent and son on.

The time of salvation. The Lord whom we are waiting for. Please come. Please come.

Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7)

Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. (Rev. 3:3)

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. (1 Thess. 5:4)

The above verses tell us that the Day cannot come like a thief to those who are awake. Jesus came as a thief to the chief priests and scribes, who were in darkness. However, God revealed Jesus' birth to the wise men of the east, Simon, Anna, and the shepherds who were in the light.

And it shall come to pass in the las days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh. . . (Acts 2:17)

It is evident that, at the Second Coming of the Lord, God will speak to those who have ears to hear and eyes to see so that they may be enlightened by the saints about what would take place.

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and bears a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel. (Matt. 1:23)

But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are not the least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you shall come a Ruler who will shepherd My people Israel. (Matt. 2:6)

At the time of Jesus' coming, many scholars knew that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem of Judea the offspring of David.

I was watching in the night vision, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! (Dan. 7:13)

Therefore, the Jewish people of 2,000 years ago were looking up at the sky alone, believing that Christ would come again on the clouds. However, the Messiah whom the heaven sent came on earth in the flesh.

The Lord of the Second Advent whom we are waiting for! The Lord who will on the cloud, or in flesh, Which one are you waiting for?

And John himself was clothed in camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey. (Matt. 3:4)

In what manner will Christ come again?

We cannot think of the Second Advent of the Lord without the Bible. There was only one event in the Bible that talks about the Second Advent. That was the second coming of Elijah.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. (Mal.4:5)

God promised to send Elijah who had ascended into heaven before the Messiah.

The Jewish people were waiting for the Messiah to come. Since they could know about the coming of the Messiah through the coming of Elijah, they might have been looking forward to Elijah more eagerly.

He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, , , (Luke 1:17)

The Jewish people, who were waiting for Elijah who had once ascended into heaven, thought that Elijah would come again from heaven.

And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come. (Matt. 11:14)

Jesus said that John the Baptist was none other than Elijah, for whom the Jewish people had waited so long.

We can see, from this, that the second advent of Elijah does not mean that He is coming again on earth, but that John the Baptist was supposed to succeed Elijah and accomplish the mission which Elijah had left unaccomplished on earth.

He shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the potter's vessels shall be broken to pieces. (Rev. 2:27)

Inferring from the second advent of Elijah, we can see that the Lord of the Second Advent will come on earth in the flesh with the mission of Jesus.

And she bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and to His throne. (Rev. 12:5)

The man who will judge the sinful world and restore the Kingdom of God on earth is the very Messiah.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. (I Thess. 2:8)

But the heaven and the earth which now exist are kept in store by the same word, reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. (II Pet. 3:7)

And she bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and to His throne. (Rev. 12:5)

At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. (John 14:20)

If the Second Advent of the Lord refers to Jesus' coming through the Holy Spirit to live in our individual hearts as some scholars believe, it has already taken place. Since Jesus would be present in the heart of any faithful believer from the time of the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost to the present, the Second Advent is thought to have been realized already. However, since that time, the saints are still waiting for the Second Coming of Jesus.

Some say that the Lord of the Second Advent will come in a spiritual body. In this case, we must think that this type of Second Advent also took place 2000 years ago since Jesus visited his disciples immediately after his resurrection from the tomb three days after his death. The disciples of Jesus were waiting for the day of the Second Coming even though they could meet him in spirit.

Therefore, we are obliged to confess that we are waiting for the Lord of the Second Advent who is coming not in spiritual body or as a being that lives in our individual hearts, but as a man in the flesh.

Many will say to Me in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, , , I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!" (Matt. 7:22-23)

But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. (Luke 17:25)

Who can possibly persecute the Lord of the Second Advent who will come on the cloud? The above verse shows that the Lord of the Second Advent shall be deserted by the Christians who, waiting for the Messiah, would be looking at the sky alone, by appearing to them like a thief.

When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8)

At the time when Elijah had not yet come, a young man, born and raised as the son of a carpenter, suddenly appeared, calling himself the Messiah. Indeed, there was not to be found among the Jews any so devout that they would follow him at the risk of their lives. When the Lord of the Second Advent comes in a miserable situation, there would not be faith found in us, either.

And they will say to you, "Look here!" or "Look there!" Do not go after them or follow them. (Luke 17:23)

The Kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed. (Luke 17:20) The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. (Luke 17:22)

With the birth of Jesus, the day arrived. However, those, who were looking up at the heavens alone for the Lord to come on the cloud, failed to see the day that arrived.

The Kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:21)

At the time of Jesus, those who believed him to be the Messiah and who followed and served him had already realized the Kingdom of God in their hearts. Therefore, centering on those saints who will recognize and serve him first, the Kingdom of Heaven will first be realized in their hearts, and when such individuals increase in number, forming societies and nations, the Kingdom of God will gradually appear as a world with signs to be observed.

For as the lightening that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day. (Luke 17:24)

And as it was in the day of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man. (Luke 17:26)

Noah, who knew that the flood judgment was coming, called to the people to come into the ark. In the same manner, Christ will come again on earth and call to the people to come into the ark of truth. However, if people do not listen to that call heard from the earth, they will fall into the same position as those in Noah's time.

Where will Christ come again?

Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together. (Luke 17:37)

Thus Jesus answered the Pharisees who asked him about the place of the Second Advent. This answer signifies that, just as Satan is always looking for an opportunity to take anything that is not sanctified, the Lord, who is the source of life, will come where there is life. This means that the Lord will appear among the chosen people who had best served God, to his disciples, who believed in him and followed him, and among the devout saints.

For "He has put all things under His feet." But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. (I Cor. 15:27)

God created both the visible and the invisible worlds, and created man to have both spirit and body, in order to have him dominate the two worlds, according to His words of blessing.

For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. . .And not only they, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves. . .(Rom. 8:19-23)

Due to Adam's fall, man failed to enjoy dominion over these two worlds. Therefore, the creation came to wait in lamentation for the revealing of the sons of God, who could dominate it.

And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree. (Rom. 11:17)

Jesus, having come as a perfect dominator of these two worlds, in the capacity of a perfected Adam, intended to make all his saints (believers) the dominators over the whole creation, making them one body with himself by engrafting them to his body.

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, , , (Heb. 12:1)

What is the word "clouds" in Daniel 7:13 likened to?

And he said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues." (Rev. 17:15)

Buddhism calls this world a bitter sea. Jesus told his disciples to become fishermen who catch men.

Water symbolizes the fallen man and the clouds signifies the devout saints, whose minds are always in heaven. We can see that Christ's coming on the clouds means that he will appear amidst a group of reborn saints.

Therefore I will say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. (Matt. 21:43)

No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. (John 3:13)

The 'heaven' in the Bible represents God and the world which belongs to Him, and the 'earth' represents Satan and the world which belongs to him. Therefore, Jesus , though he was in fact born on earth, was surely one who came from heaven, seen from his significance and value. So is the Lord of the Second Advent.

But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. (Rom. 11:11)

Many people believe that Christ will come again among the Jewish people. However, in his parable of the vineyard, Jesus clearly indicated that the Lord would give the Kingdom of God (the heritage) to the nation producing the fruits of it.

Jesus will come again at a predestines time to a predestined place among the chosen nation.

These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father. (John 16:25)

All the situations developing on the Christianity of today are similar to those which developed centering on the Judaism of Jesus' day. For example, there is the point that today's Christianity, like Judaism, is attached to the authority and rites of the church. Jesus, who came to fulfill the Old Testament words according to the prophets, and on that foundation to establish a new age, did not merely repeat the Old Testament words, but had to necessarily give new words for the new age. However, the chiefs and rabbits failed to meet the true Messiah because they criticized Jesus' words and conduct, according to the limits of what was allowed by the Old Testament words.

And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!" (Matt. 7:23)

Likewise, the purpose of Christ' Second Coming is to establish the new heaven and the new earth on the foundation of the New Testament Age. Therefore, at the time of the Second Advent, if the Christians of today are captives to scriptural words, they will not be able to the Lord of the Second Advent.

At that time, Jesus answered and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. (Matt. 11:25)

Today is the time of the Second Advent. Each Christian is going toward the Messiah. However, we have to look back on the road again.

Why,

Where,

How,

and When Would he come?
