Speech at the National Assembly in Taiwan

 

Following her university speaking tour in Korea, Mrs. Moon embarked on a worldwide speaking tour of forty nations. On December 22, the final day of her lengthy tour, she spoke in the main auditorium of the Taiwan National Assembly Building. Sung-fan Liu, Speaker of the Assembly, invited three hundred dignitaries including assembly members, diplomats, government executives, college chancellors, high level party officials and women leaders. In his invitation, Mr. Liu said that Hak Ja Han Moon had established the Women's Federation for World Peace, and had traveled extensively throughout the world energetically initiating activities emphasizing the importance of family values, and for the realization of world peace. As these issues were of profound interest, he encouraged them to attend.
