India

India is a country that preaches religious tolerance: "There are many ways that human beings go but in the end they come to me" (Bhagavadgita 4:11) However, India does not permit the complete freedom of religion. Throughout the past few years, the India government has banished many Christian missionaries from the country. Even those missionaries who had devoted their whole lives to India, regarding it as their own home, were given countless warnings to give up India. When missionaries leave, their place cannot be taken by other foreign missionaries. Many missionaries from the Unification Church have worked in India following Father's word.

At present, Sunday service and Principle lectures are given at a missionary's house in New Delhi. There is a separate building in Madras where Principle lectures and workshops are held regularly. Established in 1993, the Indian branch of Women's Federation for World Peace is developing energetic activities.
