Vanuatu

Missionary work in Vanuatu began in 1975. Mary Jane George Miller entered the country as volunteer music teachers and did missionary work for forty days. They worked as temporary teachers at a high school, supported by the Presbyterian church. Mary Jane introduced the Unification Principle to her fellow teachers and the principal of the school. It was August 10, 1982 that missionary work in Vanuatu officially began. A missionary arrived from New Zealand but he could not stay more than four months because of a visa problem. Missionaries love this small country with God's love as if it were their own motherland. They are still working hard with the strong conviction they will be able to do God's work proudly in public.
