Western Samoa

The population of Western Samoa is 200,000, among which 95 percent are Christian. The first missionary to this country was dispatched in 1975. John Von Dinklage, who joined the church in New Zealand in April 1980, was dispatched to Western Samoa after attending forty-day workshop.
Once there, he began teaching Wonhwa-do while working for the Samoa Times. Later, after spending some time in New Zealand, he returned to continue missionary work in Western Samoa.
