Arizona ACLC Prayer Breakfast at the new Peace Embassy in Tempe

April 21, 2007
On Saturday, April 21st, twenty-two guests gathered for the Arizona ACLC Prayer Breakfast at the new Peace Embassy in Tempe.
Rev. Oscar Crawford eloquently and confidently gave the main message on peace. His skillful PowerPoint presentation showed his early CAUSA lecturing experience. That he had connected with us here in Arizona was itself a miracle of God. Our ACLC Membership Director Dianne Hickler is a real fireball in witnessing. The pastor of a church in Mesa, Az, which she is frequenting had sent this minister to Dianne to try to "figure her out". Rev. Crawford did figure her out. He realized that she was his link back to the Unification Movement from which he had been disconnected when moving to the Valley of the Sun four years ago. We are very happy he made his way back.
Another minister, Rev. Samson Okongo, just returned from the April MEPI with a great testimony. He spoke with great vigor and heart. He was just excited to meet like-minded people on the Pilgrimage. Rev. Okongo had been involved with interfaith reconciliation work on his own for 16+ years already. He was met only three weeks before heading to Jerusalem by Jayne Turconi of Tucson. Jayne had had a show-down prayer with God about witnessing and then met him.
As these fine ministers of the Word of God testified to True Parents and filled the program so well, our visiting District Director, Rev. Timothy Henning, and staff could enjoy themselves just attending the program. Rev. Mark Tengan, however, could not contain himself being in the audience. He requested, as the District 12 ACLC Coordinator, to present the ACLC Vision and Mission. He shared this written statement so powerfully as if it were the main message. His heart and zeal drew a strong applause and many supportive comments from the audience.
