The Words of the Beutl Family |
My dear brothers and sisters,
On the occasion of the International Day of the Family I would like to invite you to become familiar with moments of my family life recorded on photos. The saying goes: “A picture is worth a thousand words”. My testimony of a life dedicated to unite God’s children contains about 3 million words, 210 000 lines, 36 000 paragraphs, some 4 thousand pages of sharing about my conviction concerning God’s will for us as His children. Since its publication I added well over 1500 photos taken at various points of my life course during the half a century that I was blessed to live on this earth in order to give you a visual glimpse of precious hours which I could experience, especially in unity with my family.
40 years ago Father told the early members: “Where is the Kingdom of Heaven first established? It first emerges in our families. Then what term can be given to our belief? It is the Way of the Family.” (1969.10.18) In the book Cheon Seong Gyeong we can read many pages related to this Way of the Family which we are dedicated to walk in our respective individual situations. It is indeed important, that we reflect deeply about our True Parents’ guidance concerning family matters for the sake of our being able to benefit the most from the opportunities we have to experience truly loving family relationships.
As we are restoring a history full of serious problems that are rooted in family disorder it is not easy to walk the Way of the Family successfully. We are called to establish the right balance of investment into the various levels starting with the task of being a messiah for our own families, then for our tribes and nations which means to connect well in heart not only with the ones we are responsible for in our immediate surroundings but also with other Blessed families in our efforts to build one worldwide family.
“The family is the starting point where God’s ideal can be manifested, as well as the happiness of humanity. It is the place where all individuals can have their efforts brought to fruition, and where all of God’s work is fulfilled.” As we know this fact we are destined to invest most of all into establishing connections of heart which will enable us to manifest the content of what True Father emphasized on God’s Day 1977: “An ideal family is a place where a God-centered eternal parental love; eternal conjugal love; and eternal filial love can be found.”
My own family lived in 6 countries, going through various kinds of extreme situations as you may well imagine. Even though the external quality of these pictures varies greatly I hope that there will be for each of you one or the other page in the albums on this site which will bring joy to your heart.
Mikula, Gabriel, Christiane and Viktoria are born into my family but first of all they are God’s children and I wish that while seeing pictures from their lives you can relate to them in such a position. Even though naturally we love our own children the most, our True Parents taught us to love even the children of our enemies more than our own children. Through the Divine Principle and Father’s speeches we can understand why it is important to do so.
It is my deep prayer and fervent desire that we may all succeed in this ultimate challenge of heart during our life here on earth,
