The Words of the Beutl Family |
My dear brothers and sisters,
After having become familiar with the content of the present series and particularly with the response from the Russian leaders one member wrote: "Hi there Mr. Beutl,
As you well know, you and I seldom agree (on style if not substance), and many people criticize you. However, in my opinion, you're done a great service in revealing the current situation in Russia and Ukraine. Father spoke of the Noonday Sun, and that also means for traditionally authoritarian societies such as those.
Here is a letter I just wrote, commenting upon the (nearly unprecedented) response sent along by the Russian leadership. All the best.
Hi all,
Interesting! Even somewhat informative.
I will give Mr. Beutl credit for this. In all my decades in the church, I've never seen Unification Church leaders feel it necessary to clarify themselves, or to explain their own words and actions, or to defend themselves against specific issues or accusations.
Hyung Jin's listening tour was something along those lines, however it was about In Jin's (and Hyun Jin's) actions, and not his own words or directions.
In this new instance, these leaders are speaking about their own words and directions, as initiated by Rev. Chung.
One thing I note, Rev. Chung seems to have something in parallel with In Jin, with his emphasis on the Second Generation, and going beyond what Unification Church elders have done before, along with traditions they've founded.
It's noteworthy that most of Mr. Beutl's accusations (or reports, if you wish) are _NOT_ denied in this letter, but instead, acknowledged and then explained.
The points which many found so odd that they couldn't be correct, are in fact reinforced. Going back to full-time missions, apart from one's spouse, we've done many times, though not so much recently.
Seems that "not having sex for a year" really is what Rev. Chung said! Whatever one thinks of this, the letter attempts to explain or justify that direction.
Also, the Internet is bashed, as "ineffective," while Rev. Chung's direction to cut-off-access is not specifically denied. Hmm...
The plot, as they say, thickens!
All the best."
Another person wrote the following lines: "Dear Nikolaus,
These actions are the most terrible sins from Satan himself working through the top leadership of Unification Church. I believe True Father is using you as a righteous spy in order to expose these self-centered crimes of our church members, that are deforming our movement. True Father said He will be investigating on these evil matters so everyone will clearly visualize these shameful acts committed by tyrants.
Thinking like this 'I never believed my husband because he is a braggart. But when he bought us a house in Korea, I realized that in the Ukraine really great things are happening.' and the husband saying these kinds of remarks 'I have still desire to smoke, drink, take drugs and sexual desire. I am a terrible guy', so all can clearly realize why the invasion of Satan took place.
It's sad that we didn't notice these wrong actions so we could move in the right direction and support our True Father, if so He would be alive physically today.
It tears my heart to hear this also 'Because many parents do not have enough money to feed their children they give them away to public institutions where more than 100.000 children live without their parents who are too poor to feed them. Millions of old people exist in misery with hardly enough money to live a normal life'. Tears flow when I imagine Heavenly Fathers feelings...
Thank You and Hope you will be protected,"
A person who is very active in witnessing outreach wrote: "Dear Nikolaus,
Thank you once again for the outstanding work you do in highlighting the tragic and appalling misuse of the Principle by leaders such as Jin Pal Chung.
I would like to suggest that you ask the relevant Blessed couples that you know in that NE Region to send a collective letter directly to True Mother. Last year I wrote directly to True Mother about things that I felt were wrong in relation to President Song's leadership in Europe. Within a short time of me sending that letter President Song was given a new mission! Also, this year I wrote to True Mother expressing my views about the way Hyung Jin Nim was talking about 'Absolute Sex' Of course I cannot prove that because I wrote to True Mother that that is why President Song changed mission and Hyung Jin Nim was stopped from talking about Absolute Sex. However, I do feel that in some way my letters will have influenced True Mother.
In relation to 'True Love'. I am very sorry for you after reading about the tragic and unacceptable way you have been treated by certain misguided leaders. It shows that it is not just in NE Europe that there is still a lot of work to be done to get rid of the autocratic leadership style.
I talk about true love when I am witnessing to people. I can see that such a term stimulates and inspires people.
Thank you again for setting up such a brilliant website about True Love. Make no mistake, eventually your sincerity will be recognized Nikolaus. Best wishes,"
A Blessed mother gave valuable advice: "We have to emphasize the restoration of the four fallen natures. (1) We are God's son or daughter. Love Abel (our self) in relation to the offering we make of our self. (2) Receive God's love through the word of the LSA through Hoon Dok Hae education. (3) Take back the dominion from the Archangel by bringing them to a natural surrender, practised through True Love. (4) Multiply goodness by working together with other blessed families (in trinities) to establish GIG through Home Church. (5) Speak out for God and True Parents at every opportunity.

You are a brave soul. I want to be like you. God Bless You!"
One more voice from a concerned mother:
"Dear Brother Nikolaus,
Thank you firstly for the many, many emails that you send. I am sorry that I don't get very much time to reply, and also feel that my replies would be inadequate to cover the enormous work and responsibility that you have truly taken on as a great son of God and True Parents.
However, I do try to read what you send. I have sometimes been very surprised by what you write, and hopefully, if I get further opportunity would like to discuss some of the content a little bit more with you.
In the meantime, you have brought to our attention the very alarming situation that is going on in the North East Region. It is very shocking that all this is happening, and I do really feel that many members there are in a plight.
Your deep research and commitment are helping to uncover many things (a lot of reading material to go through which obviously extends from a lot of work involved). I don't know why you are not getting more support in the work that you are doing with this, which obviously entails a lot of research, travelling and (not sure which word to use) 'deciphering' of it all. This requires enormous resources of energy, time, finance etc. Your commitment to this must also be quite exhausting. I sincerely hope that you do not have to stay as a lone figure in this serious challenge that you have taken on.
I am in the middle of writing some letters of my own now, so I will have to close (but for the time being only, as I would like to get back to you to again shortly). Incidentally, before I go I would like you to know, from one human heart to another, that I've felt enormously distressed about the way you have been treated in some of what you have been doing. This kind of response is totally banal -- even from the secular world -- and should not have any place in the palaces of True Parents (being everywhere are members are; even the meekest/most modest place, but especially in the place of our hearts - which should be the greatest palace of love).
God and True Parents' greatest strength, love and wisdom be with you. With many best wishes.
PS: As I was reading your recent send out, there were many paragraphs that, like you say need to be addressed within our church and with the church leaders (and also members, of course), but there was one that stuck out a little bit more, which I felt I had to respond to as it was so blatantly 'off track': (and not in line at all with Vision 2020):
Your paragraph reads: 'True Mother asked the American church to do its part to fulfill the mission of bringing in seven million new members by the year 2020. And what is the goal for the restoration of Russia according to Rev. Jin Pal Chung? He told the Russian leaders that if they completely unite with him he guarantees them 100 new members by 2020!'
I agree that this is a very strange answer: 100 members only by 2020! If this were truly the case then the members wouldn't need to do any more than just produce the next generation of blessed children; who would be many more than 100 - given of course they don't separate for one year at a time! How very ridiculous! This on its own proves not only how very contradictory/ill-thought through these replies are, but also how very much they go against the Principle. These members are really in a plight. May God and True Parents guide them through it all.
Thank you so much dear brother Nikolaus for all that you are doing to try to correct these misdemeanors. With much hope."
