District 6 Prayer Breakfast Report, Cleveland, Ohio

March 15, 2008
Our March pastors' prayer breakfast was held on the 15th at Fairfax Place Nursing Home in Cleveland. People gathered in the bright and beautifully decorated dining hall. The breakfast was ready right on time, and we shared a delicious meal with the prayer of Dr. Louis Timms, this months' emcee. Rev. Joel Lindstrom gave the welcoming message with a brief explanation of the meaning of HSA-UWC. We could feel a beautiful atmosphere when he was talking about how the Spirit guided Father Moon in our early church history. Dr. Timms' dignified and humorous words also helped us to anticipate and welcome the moving of the Holy Spirit as the program unfolded.
New ACLC member, the Honorable Nathanial Martin, passionately read the peace message, which brightened the room even further. Our keynote speaker was Elder Tenisha Watson, who is helping so much in many fields of ministry by teaching and showing the power of God's love. She spoke on the theme ''Identification, Promise, Wait and Proof". These were her deeply shared steps of guidance in showing how God and the Holy Spirit work in our lives. The message, in harmony with our topic of resurrection, was so powerful, touching everyone and helping us to make a new determination to accomplish great things with God. It was so encouraging and loving. As she mentioned at the very beginning of her message: " Love! The Love which transcends any difference, culture, race. That Love is the one I'm talking about!" As we entered this time of Easter, this was really the message that all who are living in this new age needed to hear.
At the close, the Spirit guided all of us to gather very close for an altar call and a strong unison prayer with all the young people in the middle for hope, protection, and resurrection. A beautiful blessing ceremony and the presentation of peace flags followed. A splendid time was shared by all. Thank you very much for Dr. Thelma Johnson, who invited amazing guests and organizing this beautiful program. And thank you all!
