Chinese Ministry and Autobiography Distribution Providence

With the grace of God and True Parents, and with the effort of American brothers and sisters from across the country to the sin city, pouring out their heart and sweat for the sake of providence, through distributing autobiography as a tool for witnessing, we could finally achieved the goal of 120,000 books distribution within 4 months periods on July 4, 2011, it is really amazing!

Since we participated in the mobilization from the time when the Japanese missionaries from Japan fulfilled the 50,000 books distribution as the foundation culminated in the March event, to the period of time the American members took over to fulfill the remaining 70,000, we witnessed the change of heart and spirit of those participated, the power of testimonies of each precious individual inspired us to go out to face the challenge, in spite of negative persecution in the beginning, and the unbearable humid and high temperature (over 100 C) in the desert. We felt the power of spirit world working constantly with us to melt the heart of the people. Most of all, we felt the change of spiritual atmosphere through the unity of heart as first and second generation of peace, working together towards fulfilling the goal of building God's nation of Cheon Il Guk.

In reflecting upon all these experiences, I felt the urge to share my personal testimony especially some of the highlights which remain such beautiful experiences in my life.

The first person I witnessed to through autobiography distribution was a Chinese acupuncture doctor who lives in China town happened to be my distribution area. She read the Chinese autobiography in one day through the night without sleep, she was completely moved by the genuine life story of True Father that she said she needs to change her life from then on. She came to father's event and attended Divine Principle seminar, got treatment from our happy health center, and she began to open her heart and trusted us completely. I found out later she came from a noble family, her father was the president of oriental and western medical hospital in China, she was the 4th generation descendant of emperor's advisor (right-hand man) of the Ching Dynasty. She also started to share some of her spiritual experiences with Jesus in China even she was not even a believer then. I guessed her deceased father and ancestor must have worked very hard in her life, she even offered her house for us to use as cell group meeting, and finally asked me to move in to stay with her and entrusted us to take care of her house while she was traveling to China.

Another Chinese family that came to our book table set up in China town outside a Vietnamese café. They were attracted to us because they thought my husband is a scholar and author of the book, and they wanted him to sign his signature on the book. We started our conversation for at least half an hour, and found out it was the work of spirit world that we could meet, they came from the southern province of China where my deceased father was born. As an autobiography writer himself, Mr. Ma studied Father's autobiography so thoroughly really amazed me, he said in his 30 years' experience as a book writer, he never came across such a unique and profound way of writing autobiography that capture the heart of people immensely. It was the greatest autobiography he ever read. He was especially moved and touched by Father's indescribable tortures and suffering in the communist prison as he himself had the same experience of being tortured severely in the communist prison as a writer, but he expressed his suffering was no way comparable to Father's, that's why he could bow down to Father and could respect and admire his spirit of perseverance. The whole family had attended Father's event and attended 2 days Divine Principle seminar, and now they are studying deeper Divine Principle content every week at my house, they were inspired to find out Father is the second coming and they are preparing to receive the blessing at the right time. His son is a senior business analyst working with the MGM corporate group in Las Vegas and his wife is a retired English professor in China.

Another incredible experience at the same spot where I handed out the autobiography was an American lady with a little boy. As we were talking, she suddenly asked me if I speak Chinese and if I can teach Chinese (Mandarin) to her son. I was curious why she wants her son to learn Chinese at such a young age, she said she foresees the future language of the world will be Asian language, that's why she wants her children to be bilingual. What a smart choice. So I became the family language tutor and also became her family's friend. My purpose is more for witnessing than for making money. Later I found out also there are some common similarity between her family and my family: both of us came from big family of 13, and both father own construction business. One morning I focus my prayer for her, that day she poured her heart out to me that her ex-husband was a Chinese from Taiwan, she couldn't get along with the Chinese mother-in-law that finally caused the divorce. She wanted to know how my marriage work as an international couple. Of course I gave her some tips how to serve the mother- in-law with love. Now she is happily married with an American husband, beautiful couple with 3 beautiful children, and with her own parents, 3 generations live together in harmony, running the family business in a big mansion. This is the first unusually friendly and righteous good American family I have met in my life, they have 10 sons and 3 daughters which I hope eventually to bring to God's family.

My strategy in witnessing is 40% based on the spirit world. Therefore I would go to the same spot every day for the spirit world to work. Sure enough all these people whom I have contacted are all from the same spot, I felt our ancestors surely are helping us to bring people of similar background that we could share our heart with.. Another phenomenon that struck me was the power to work as a couple. Since my husband and I are German-American and Chinese international couple, spirit world guided many such couples to us. So far we have encountered 4 German-Chinese couples: some are still struggling in their relationship, some have resolved some issues, we know very well the restoration between the two enemy nations, we have gone through the same struggles like they have, and we know the solution through the Divine Principle. It was no wonder that they seek guidance from us as international couple because they see us as if we are ideal couple even we know we are not yet ideal. Thanks to True Parents for the blessing and that we can be the tribal messiah for many people and many international couples who will be participating in our blessing in the near future to come.

My conclusion is: I am grateful to be able to participate in this mobilization in Las Vegas, to have this precious experience to work together with brothers and sisters. My overall impression was people in Las Vegas are generally more open and friendly that we can easily make conversation with them. Spirit world is definitely working closely with us as Las Vegas is the center of the universe where True Parents are residing, the time has come now for all of us to harvest the fruits for God and True Parents as tribal messiah.
