Dear members,
Unification is dedicating the May-June 2010 double issue to all American members, 1st and 2nd generation, who have served America in the army, Navy, Marines, the Air Force and Coast Guard, and who will serve and are about to be deployed. The reason we have chosen to honor our brothers and sisters in arms is because the Little Angels will be touring America in June 2010 to thank veterans of the Korean War. We want to compliment this act on behalf of all the members in America.
Unification News is looking for anecdotes, testimonies and even permission to print personal letters to families from those in service in the past and the present, for publication in the May-June issue. If you have another submission idea, please send it in for consideration, though it is not mentioned here.
UNEWS does not want to miss anyone! We want every person, who has served or will serve, as well as family members and close friends, to have the chance to be recognized and have the chance to give recognition to someone.
Here are the specifications for submissions:
Deadline: May 25th
Word Count: between 500-1000 words (2-4 single typed pages).
Photos: If anyone has photos, we desperately need them. They can be of the person in service in full uniform, in action, or with family and friends. If anyone has a photo of the actual war scene that they feel would truly express their testaments, please send those in as well.
Specifications for images: digital only sent via email.
Resolution: 300 dpi or higher
format: save image as a JPEG file. Keep image separate from txt file.
Please send color photos only.
