Dear Alumni and Friends,
The cycles of life - new beginnings, mid-points, endings - were poignantly represented throughout this year's graduation day. For the graduates the day represented both a time of completion and embarking on new adventures - we welcome each one into our alumni community and wish them well. The recently approved UTS Doctorate program marks an exciting new chapter in UTS history; are you called to be part of the first class? Current students, in the midst of the nuts and bolts preparation of a memorable graduation, reflect on their remaining time at UTS, considering how to make the most of this opportunity, this precious time in their lives before they too will graduate. Alumni returning to their "alma mater" connect with old and new friends, offer their unique support, and from the foundations of their past, look to the future - some with the newly acquired credentials of a Masters degree. No matter where we may be in the dynamic circle of life, let us find ways to support and uplift each other.
Love and peace, Gillian Corcoran
New graduates welcomed into alumni ranks
Joy was in the air from the moment the graduates of the 30th class at UTS processed down the aisle of the Interfaith Chapel for the Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, June 24. Fifty-two students were awarded degrees and certificates. Eleven received the Master of Divinity degree, 36 received the Master of Religious Education degree, one received the Certificate in Unification Leadership, and four Japanese missionaries received the Certification in Christian Ecumenical Leadership. Seventeen of the degree recipients were students primarily at the school’s New York Extension Center. This year's graduates included 8 alumni who successfully upgraded their diplomas to fully accredited Masters degrees.

Spotlight on alumni
"Greetings from Keith Anderson in the Land of the Rising Son! (Note the spelling) I am settled in at the seminary at Chung Pyung working on the translation/editing of the 2400 page Cheon Seong Gyeong (The Heavenly Scripture). What a blessing to be working on this awesome task!"
Sorry that we don't have a photo of Keith for this edition.
We would love to hear about you and your family, where you are now, how you got there, etc, AND see photos of then and now. Email your info (don't forget the pics) to Gillian.
