The Words of the Cromwell Family |
Recently, I've really been thinking a lot about the idea of God's children.
When we see True Parents, we are seeing God's child (Father) and his wife (Mother). From the DP, we know that Father is the substantial object partner of God, the second self of God, through whom God expresses himself. But without Mother, the object partner of Father, there can be no multiplication (Four Position Foundation) through which God's lineage can continue. In other words, no more children of God.
It's interesting to see that Father started his family early. He had a child and then had to leave his first family. No matter what happened to him after that, God would still have his family. In fact, in my understanding Father was protected because he had a family. He had established the four position foundation on the earth. However, he was living in total sacrifice of his own well being or even the well being of his family. He sacrificed the well being of his beloved wife and children so that he could love Satan's children more than his own child. He couldn't make that sacrifice until he had a child.
Father's life is really a long string of sacrifices always followed by victories. He starts on a small level and grows and grows and grows. He is constantly giving with true love, never asking for anything in return, but always conscious of his mission to establish God's kingdom on the earth - a nearly impossible task when Christianity forsakes him and his purpose.
Father is truly God's son. There is no other way to look at Father's life. I know how hard it is to attend God as I do so in my own life. You can't do what you want, you can't eat, sleep, work, play, talk, think or do what you want to do. You have to sacrifice it all and think about what is best for God's sake - how can I make this day a day for God.
Father has totally given his life to God, and he has also multiplied his lineage. Not only has he given birth to over 14 children, but he has also given spiritual birth to thousands, millions, and perhaps billions of people. I can feel my spirituality bloom and develop as I grow older, and I know it's thanks to my relationship with God, True Parents and True Family.
Hyo Jin Nim was no different than Father. He devoted his life for the sake of God and True Parents. Whenever I think of him, I feel my throat dry up and I want to cry. I don't see anything in Hyo Jin Nim's life that was done for his own sake. I know that it was all done for God and True Parents -- even the things that some people might judge him for. That is actually what makes him greater -- that he was never fake, he was always strong and bold and courageous. What an amazing man. In my view, he never asked for anything for himself other than what he saw as necessary for him to serve God and True Parents. He also knew how to be humble and forsake the spotlight, letting others take leadership positions.
I hope everyone will see the video of Hyung Jin Nim offering bows. I think it's too large for Facebook, but it will be posted in the members area of www.familyfed.org and I recommend everyone to watch it. I made subtitles for it since it's in Korean, but it's really something else.
Every one of the True Children is absolutely amazing.
As Blessed Families, I feel that we are bound to the True Family by blood (spiritually). We have no choice but to serve them if we are to stay alive spiritually. They are God's sons and daughters and we are only sons of God's restored sons and daughters (2nd gen). We all long for the day that our descendants will become part of the True Family (God's family).
If we want to serve God, we should serve his children (True Parents). If we want to serve True Parents, we should serve their children (True Children). If we want to serve True Children, we should serve the True Grandchildren, etc, etc.
Yet, we can serve all of them -- God, True Parents, True Children and True Grandchildren. (There is even a True Great Grandchild now, one of Sung Jin Nim's grandchildren.)
I always wonder about the True Children we don't hear about. They are all God's children, out there working for God.
By the way, Young Jin Nim's death seems to have been a homicide. There is lots of good evidence to point to the fact that it was not a suicide and plenty of chance that it was a homicide. If it was, that must be really tragic for True Parents. To have a child be murdered would be torture.
Heung Jin Nim gave his life and is serving True Parents in the spirit world diligently.
Hyun Jin Nim has devoted his life to public mission and to allowing True Parents' public legacy to go beyond one generation.
Kook Jin Nim is creating a strong solid financial foundation for our movement to survive without wilderness-era techniques such as fundraising.
At the end of the day, the world will survive and go toward God's ideal through the True Family. There is no other way. And we are here with them, accompanying them, supporting them, loving them, attending them...
