The Words of the Cromwell Family |
In response to Hyun Jin Nim's recent letter and members' responses to his letter:
We so easily forget that it is all about True Father. It's not about any of the True Children. All the True Children come to testify to True Father, and each does so in his or her own way. See Jesus' words, Matthew 10:34-42, and consider Father saying these words to us. Jesus himself said that he would turn people against those in their own family. Why? So that they would first and foremost love him more than anyone else in the entire cosmos. This is because we are to love True Father (Jesus) as God's substance on the earth.
Matthew 10:34-42 (NIV)
Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn 'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law -- a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.'
Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person's reward. And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.
True love, true life and true lineage all originated from Father and from Jesus before him.
Father is searching for those who will unite with him, those who will stay around him. The so-called corrupt or immoral leaders are actually the pioneers and beacons of faith who have stood by our True Father for many many years. CHK was one of them. (was). For didn't Jesus also say,
(Matthew 12:48-50)
"Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?" Pointing to his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."
Whatever the faults of our leaders, they are the ones who stood by True Parents for many many years when the world abandoned and ignored True Parents. I have not attended or served True Parents as much as any of the leaders, so what right do I have to judge even one of them? Every one of them is greater than me. I serve them as well as I can so that I can indirectly serve Father. It's all about Father.
Father puts True Children in leadership positions, and then we serve the True Children so that we may indirectly serve Father through serving the True Children.
Absolute obedience is one of the virtues that Father emphasizes along with absolute faith and absolute love.
I am not seeing absolute faith, absolute love or absolute obedience from Hyun Jin Nim to Father. However, I do see absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience from In Jin Nim, Kook Jin Nim and Hyung Jin Nim toward Father. When Hyun Jin Nim puts himself above Father's words, then he enters an unprincipled position and any who follow him do the same.
