True Father singing with the members who gathered for the morning pledge ceremony, Cheon Jeong Gung Museum, January 1, 2007.

Centering on True Parents and welcoming the True Family, the '408th True God's Day' was held at 12:00 a.m., respectively, on January 1, 2007, at Cheon Jeong Gung Museum. This midnight prayer was also broadcasted to around 180 nations around the world, as well as at Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center.

Around 1,500 Ambassadors for Peace, Leaders, and pastors from around the world were gathered to attend this service, which was held in the congress room of Cheon Jeong Gung Museum. In Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center, around 8,000 members watched the midnight prayer in Cheonseong Wanglim Palace (Heavenly Palace) and in the Chinhwa Education Hall and welcomed the 40th True God's Day.

Rev. Chung-hwan Kwak, International President of IIFWPU as the emcee, the midnight prayer was held in the congress room of Cheon Jeong Gung Museum.

11:56 p.m. of December 31, 2006, True Parents entered the stage and everyone bowed to them. For around 22 minutes, True Parents gave the midnight prayer from 12:00 a.m..

In their sincere prayer, True Parents said that now on this earth, God's ownership and Cheon Il Guk has been established.

After the benediction, the members gathered at the service bowed to True Parents and the True Children. Then True Parents wrote calligraphy of this year's motto, 'Cheonju-Pyunghwa Cheon Il Guk TaePyung-seongdae Eok-manse'.

The service ended at 12:44 a.m. by an Eok-manse offered by Rev. Sun-jo Hwang President of FFWPU Korea.

The 'Pledge and Commemorative Service for 40th True God's Day' started from 7 a.m. on January 1, 2007, centering on True Parents and welcoming the True Family. The Commemorative event was held in the congress room of Cheon Jeong Gung Museum and was broadcasted to Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center where around 10,000 members from around the world watched it in the Cheonseong Wanglim Palace (Heavenly Palace) and in the Chinhwa Educational Hall.

The Pledge Service and Commemorative Service was held by Rev. Chun-hwa Kwak, International President of IIFWPU, as the emcee.

After the opening remarks, there was the bowing from representatives of each level, reciting the Family Pledge, Report Prayer by Rev. Kwak and his wife, Cake Cutting by True Parents, and followed by the Partaking of the Holy Food, Rev. Kwak did a Hoon Dok of True Father's Words. Rev. Kwak, first, explained the meaning of the True God's Day and read True Father's speech which was spoken on the 34th True God's Day, for around 30 minutes.

Following the presentation of flowers, there was a time to listen to True Parents' Words. True Father repeatedly recited this year's motto, 'Chungju-Pyunghwa Cheon Il Guk TaePyung-seongdae Eok-manse' and talked the importance of this motto for the 7th year of Cheon Il Guk.

Then True Father called upon; Byeong-hwa Kim, Continental Director of Asia; Mr. and Mrs. Yeong-cheol Song, Continental Director of Europe; Rev. Do-sun Lim, President of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center; President Yong-heon Moon; Yang Heo, North Parish Leader; Mr. Jeong-min Park, and told each of them to sing a song that expresses the joy and hope of welcoming the 7th year of Cheon Il Guk. Then True Parents told Hyun Jin Nim, Kook Jin Nim and Hyung Jin Nim to sing songs. Members gathered for the service enjoyed the atmosphere of sharing the joyful feeling of Cheon Il Guk and received much love from True Parents.

Then True Parents continued with his words and told president Hyon-sil Kang to testify about the days of the beginning. President Kang shared the episodes that she went through as a missionary sent to Dae-gu, Korea.

After that, True Parents recited repeatedly this year's motto, 'Chungju-Pyunghwa Cheon Il Guk TaePyung-seongdae Eok-manse'. Answering True Parents' wishes, the members who gathered there all repeatedly recited the motto together with the resolution of giving back the victory and glory to True Parents.

Then with Rev. Sun-jo Hwang, President of FFWPU Korea, 3 cheers of Eok-manse he concluded the Pledge and Commemorative Service for the 40th True God's Day.

The 40th True God's Day Entertainment was held in the Cheonseong Wanglim Palace (Heavenly Palace) of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center, welcoming True Parents and the True Family which started at 3 p.m. January 1, 2007.

As No-hui Park, West Seoul Parish Leader, as the emcee he first introduced the Traditional Percussion Research Institute, which expressed the opening of Cheon Il Guk through big drums (Daego).

Followed by a video presentation titled 'Strong Beginning for the Year 2007 for Cheon Il Guk', which showed the main events of 2006; Opening of the Cheon Jeong Gung Museum and the victory of World Speaking Tour by the three generations of the family of True Parents.

Then there was a performance by the Sook-myung Gayageum Orchestra, consisting of 6 people, Hiroko Sakai, a Japanese sister who sang 3 songs, and 5 vocalists from the La Strada.

As for the last program of the Entertainment, a play was performed by Cheon-il-mun Theatrical Company. They performed, 'The New Garden of Eden', which expressed the change of life style for a true family in the era of Cheon Il Guk, in the background of the process of making the Cheon Jeong Gung Museum.

The 40th True God's Day Entertainment was concluded with 3 Cheers of Eok-manse by Katsumi Otsuka, President of FFWPU Japan.
