On February 13, the 2008 World Leaders Assembly was held at Chungshim Youth Center (Chung-a Camp) with around 700 leaders from around the world gathering to discuss and share information for the realization of Cheon Il Guk on earth. The assembly was originally scheduled for 4 days, however, due to current Korean state affairs, the assembly was shortened to 1 day. Despite the short schedule, many leaders came and attended, uniting as one for the realization of Cheon Il Guk.

In the morning, Hyun Jin Nim, came as a special guest to talk about the Global Peace Festival. The Global Peace Festival has a theme of 'One Family Under God' and its goal is worldwide support for peace building and implementing the United Nations Development Goals. It has held many events around the world to promote peace and love through volunteer activities, such as clean-up activities, as well as through dance and entertainment.

Hyun Jin Nim emphasized taking new approaches and set up Global Peace Festivals around the world to promote the vision, 'One Family Under God'.

Through out the day, leaders shared information, testimonies, and presentations for a better and more successful year for realizing God and True Parents' dream of 'One Family Under God'.

To close the day, Rev. Chung-hwan Kwak, International President of IIFWPU, gave the closing remarks. He said, 'In order to realize Heaven on Earth, we must ask ourselves, "How are we going to do this?"'. Through his speech, Rev. Kwak, explained the life course of True Parents, how they came to victory over many hardships and that we must inherit their glories and spread the message to the world.
