On February 14, the '2008 Cheon Il Guk African Leaders Assembly' took place on the 3rd floor of Chungshim Youth Center (Chung-a Camp) centering on Rev. Eiji Tokuno, President of UPF-Africa, and around 60 national leaders and messiahs of Africa. The Assembly was a chance for all leaders to unite as one at the Holy Ground of Chung Pyung to plan and be educated for future plans for the providence in Africa.

In the morning, Rev. Tokuno presented the goals of UPF Africa, and educated the gathered leaders for a better result in Africa. Through much talk and testimonies, the leaders and Rev. Tokuno were able to unite.

In the afternoon, Rev. Myeong-gwan Lee, Director of Education and Planning, came to the assembly as a special guest and gave a special presentation of New Beginning Workshops in Africa. Rev. Lee came to the leaders, thanking for a successful tour in 2007 and exchanged information for a better tour in 2008. Later, a representative of the International Registration Office of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center came to give a presentation of technical things for the tour and success of the workshop.

Although the busy schedule, each leader listened carefully to all the guests and expressed hope for the coming year for African countries.
