Note: On April 22, 2008, Dae Mo Nim spoke to the members of the 123rd Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop and the 42nd Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives at the 2nd floor of Chinhwa Educational Building. She said, through the life on earth we must perfect in becoming heavenly people and emphasized the importance of family life.
As we live on earth we tend not to think about the spirit world. That is, we don't think about the fact that, 'We will die someday'. We live on earth as if we are going to live forever.
However, we don't know when we will ascend to the spirit world. There are no exceptions for going to the spirit world. In other words, there is no such thing as eternal life on earth.
That is why we must understand and know of the eternal spirit world and live our lives. Even if you lived on earth for 80 or 100 years, the time living in the spirit world is far greater than the time you spend on earth.
If you lived your life planning for the life in the spirit world then you will be able to live happily in the spirit world. However, if you hadn't laid out a good plan for a life after in the spirit world, then you will probably live unhappily and suffer from pain in the spirit world.
We know that there is hell in the spirit world. That is why we must know, 'If I die today, where would I go? Would I go to Heaven or Hell? How huge is Hell? Is it as big as one city or big as the spirit world?'
When I first visited the spirit world I couldn't see Heaven. All was Hell. Heaven was almost non-existent. The history after the Fall of Adam and Eve was a long history beyond our imagination, which lead Hell to cover most of the spirit world.
If we went to the spirit world today, do you think we'd go to Heaven or Hell? We are unable to enter Heaven. If you went to the spirit world now, you are unable to go to Heaven, because you have much fallen nature and sins.
We must be in the position of a servant after we have received the blessing. Not in the position of a child nor an adopted child. We received the blessing so that we could be in the position of a true child who can establish One Heart, One Body and One Mindset with God. They blessed us through Absolute Faith, Absolute Love, and Absolute Obedience, thus aiding us to establish One Heart, One Body, and One Mindset with God and True Parents.
True Parents gave the following blessings, "Become One Heart, One Body and One Mindset with the Principal and walk the path of Absolute Faith, Absolute Love and Absolute Obedience that can remove inherited sins, collateral sins, individual sins and fallen nature. Live like that. In doing so, you will be able to perfect your personalities and establish a perfected blessed family, thus, become a heavenly person."
However, there are times where we ignore the general people and other religions. But that is not the way. Human beings still have conscience because of the existence of many religions today. That is why True Parents established Inter-religious and International Federation for World Peace.
The reason why True Parents thinks precious of other religious people is because for their faith, a faith that lasted this long and created a history of good conscience. However, when we look at our own deepness, attitude and degree of faith we have yet to rise to that level. Rather, we lack of modesty and in times have more fallen nature than them.
We must think about the spirit world as we live on earth. Hell is much larger than Heaven. If we ascended to the spirit world today, we wouldn't be able to go to Heaven. Then how must we live? We must become people who can live better tomorrow than yesterday with less fallen nature.
Instead of changing beautifully from yesterday, today and tomorrow, we must stop living arrogantly and thoughtlessly.
Compared to the time at the beginning of Chung Pyung Works in 1995, the number of Absolute Good Spirits has increased after 2005 and your hearts have become more modest.
The direction I had at the beginning of Chung Pyung Works were different from now. For example, we used to have cold showers (purify oneself by pouring cold water upon oneself) 3 times per day. There were days where we did 5 to 6 hours of Holy Song Sessions. It was a time where we had to sincerely repent and work on ourselves.
Now, lots of evil spirits has been liberated from your body therefore, your personalities are better. However, more liberation of evil spirits from your body ensures you to become a heavenly person.
As I said at the beginning of this year, whenever you have time, come to Chung Pyung and attend the Holy Song Session, and when I go on tours, attend the workshop there, and as you liberate that evil entity from yourself during those times, you are able to change yourself. Your personality and life will change and in the end you are able to live a life of happiness and joy.
One of the things that we must know is that if you go to the spirit world tomorrow, you are unable to enter Heaven. That is why we must plan and set up a goal.
For example, you should set up goals, 'I mustn't have hearts of jealousy when I go to the spirit world. I must clear that heart this month'. Or others like, 'The month that represents Family (May in Korea), I must love my family whatever the situation.'
You should set up a goal, 'I will smile and comfort my husband with love at difficult times'. Yet, if your husband still says irritating things and actions you must think, 'This person is my youngest son' and embrace him.
By the way, after attending a Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop and returning home with that positive thought, what happens when your husband says and does irritating things ? Hatred emerges more than love. We don't realize it but words of hatred come out.
Such thought, 'After attending the Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop, I made a resolution to start love my husband from May, but looking at my husbands' frustrating actions and hearing his words stops me from loving him. I was stupid to make such commitment' could emerge. However, this shouldn't be the case.
First, trainees who attended the Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop should establish cultures; unite as a couple, unite parent and child, and the unity of blessed families, in order for our perfection of personalities.
It doesn't matter if a person offered prayer (all night) and morning fast for 100 or 1,000 days, if that person failed to unite as a couple and with their child, that person and family fails in perfecting their personality.
There are things that you must focus on during your 40-day workshop, to center on the principal and goodness, one must perfect individuality, unite with spouse and parents and children must unite.
Thus a true family is built and when the culture of blessed families, trying to unite, is established you are able to become heavenly people. Do you believe this? ("Yes!") Can you do this? ("Yes!")
Until now couples couldn't unite. Is this the case? You couldn't unite as one. The parent and child couldn't unite as one.
When your child was a toddler, they listened to you didn't they? They listen carefully to you when they just started walking. However, the parent child relationship will differ as your child makes it through junior high school, high school and college. It will differ even more when they get married.
Looking at your own baby parents think, 'Since my child is a 2nd Gen. it will listen to me even if it went to high school and college and have a proper life of faith.' However, they don't generally grow to be like this on their own. Only when they were raised centering on faith will they continue to live a life centering on faith as they get older and go to junior high school, high school and college.
Also, only when a child had respected the parents since small can they respect their parents when they grow older.
To make your child respect you, you cannot just express love. You must have proper sets of rules within the family and as you give good education can they grow properly, receive the blessing and have a family and live with a good mindset.
You must give proper educations; personality education, family education and faith education. It helps your child to establish a perfect family after receiving the blessing and when it starts a family of its own.
You should have such plans and start it by attending the Chung Pyung 40-day Workshops as a pregnant sister. Therefore, through raising your child in your womb, feeding your baby, and through nurturing, you must teach love, the roots of a human being.
Also, since the time when children just started walking, through their school life and until they become an adult, you must live a life that they can pace themselves to. Such lifestyle is the Family Culture that True Parents has been talking about. Do you understand? ("Yes!")
Young mothers must know this. It is wrong to think, 'Since my child is a 2nd (3rd) generation it will naturally resemble God and True Parents'. You must give proper education.
Through our lifestyle we must teach our 2nd and 3rd Gen., what is good and what is bad. Also teaching them to be neat and to be clean or else they will fail to become a proper person. Do you agree with me? ("Yes!")
Were you able to teach good manners? A mother who leaves her child dropping its food at the table is a wrong mother. A mother who watches her child and laughs when it leaves toys without tidying it up is a wrong mother. A family that always follows behind the child is a wrong family.
You must educate your child properly. For example, you must educate your child, 'After you study, put your books here and pencils here and throw away the trash over here', 'Put your clothes over here once you take them off', 'You must eat your food like this and eat it deliciously'. You must educate them on how to meet with their parents, grandparents and siblings.
As you give such education, the parents must become the center body that center heaven in the family and thus are able to become heavenly people with perfected personalities. Do you understand? ("Yes!")
It doesn't matter how great you are, if there was even one person who has unhappy in your family then you cannot be happy. If there was an unhappy person in a family then that family is not a happy family.
To establish a happy family, the child and parents must have One Heart, One Body and One Mindset. However, you mustn't force this on a child and center on fallen nature.
If you act with love at times of anger and hatred, you are able to become a person who can establish heaven, and as a result is able to enter heaven. Do you believe this? ("Yes!")
Can we go to heaven or not? We can go can't we? If you follow such life, you can enter heaven 100%.
In 1995, I said, 'We cannot enter Heaven'. In 1998, I also said, 'We probably cannot enter heaven'. However, as Absolute Good Spirits were starting to be created by 1999, thoughts emerged within me, 'We are able to enter heaven. If we completely change the way we lived, we can enter'.
Entering the year 2008, thoughts came to me, 'We can become heavenly people! We just have to change our lifestyle a little bit more. From now on, the Absolute Good Spirits will remove evil spirits and fallen nature, thus, changing our lifestyle, therefore, we can enter heaven'.
We have to move towards heaven. Do you understand? ("Yes!") Recently, I asked a song writer to create a song for me. To create a song with a title, 'Towards Heaven'.
All brothers and sister of the unification family will come to Chung Pyung and sing this song. When we sing this song out loud, a song that marches towards heaven, it will sink into our lives, helping us to become heavenly people, and we will be able to sing, dance and live a great life in heaven when we go to the spirit world. Do you understand? ("Yes!")
Always Smile
From today, please practice confidently and say, 'I can become a heavenly person'.
To think that you can change to become a heavenly person, you must first start with changing your expressions. You must always be smiling. Isn't that true? You must stand in front of the mirror and practice a big smile looking confident. From now on, all of you must look at the mirror, even when you are alone, and walk past smiling.
At the closing ceremony for the 40-day Workshop, I give few different awards to members, but I am thinking of giving another award, 'The Most Smiling Person' award. Thus, 40-day Workshop members will be smiling even more.
If the person you were talking to got suddenly angry but if you showed your smile, that person will eventually forget of being angry. On the other hand, if you had many things in your mind, you'd be irritated by the smallest thing.
You don't have much left of your 40-day Workshop. Please do your best in liberating and removing evil spirits as well as fallen nature from your body and your lineage through the Holy Song Sessions. And when you return to your families, create families where others around you can say, 'That is a true family. A really great family'.
I am continuously offering sincere dedication for this 'Ssang Hab Jubilee Years of the 7th and 8th Years Purification Azalea Festival Special Great Workshop' (Purification Azalea Festival) that is scheduled to be held from May 1. I intend to make sure that the Absolute Good Spirits will be able to work on you in an azalea like atmosphere from May 1 to the night of May 4.
I can't stop members who must return to their countries because of plane ticket arrangements, but for those others who are remaining, please attend the whole schedule of this Purification Azalea Festival.
Although we all are full of sins there will be amazing works through the Holy Song Session, prayer time, Prayer-Wish Purification Ceremony for Restoration and other programs. If members were able to see this amazing grace with their eyes, no member will resist of coming to the Purification Azalea Festival.
Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center is a place where illnesses and pain to are prevented from happening, therefore, many members wonder if they have gained or experienced any grace during the Purification Azalea Festival.
The Purification Azalea Festival that is held only once a year at the Chung Pyung Holy Ground is a Special Great Workshop where it returns all the grace and blessing that it gave in the past year in Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center.
That is the grace of this Purification Azalea Festival, so especially, those members who have difficulty of conceiving a child should attend and not go back home. We don't know when a difficult problem occurs, so attend this Purification Azalea Festival and call others so that they too can attend this Festival.
Some members think only to attend the Prayer-Wish Purification Ceremony for Restoration, but this is not the case.
Attend from the first day until the last. With all your might and make it a time to convert the evil in front of you into happiness. Do you understand? ("Yes!")
