Our Responsibility for Witnessing

Note: In the morning of May 13, during the Japan tour (May 13 -16), Dae Mo Nim gave words at the congratulatory banquet held at the Kanayama Church, South Aichi Parish. Dae Mo Nim emphasized the importance of witnessing and its responsibility fulfilled by blessed families and added that there will be an Awarding Ceremony for Excellency in witnessing during next year's Purification Azalea Festival. Right after the last day of the 'Ssang Hab Jubilee Years of the 7th and 8th Years Purification Azalea Festival Special Great Works' (Purification Azalea Festival) (May 1 -- 4), I left for U.S.A, where True Parents were, at the time. Then, several days after I returned from U.S.A., I came to Japan.

I heard all the reports today and I am really grateful for all the members and pastors who have worked real hard for witnessing.

Recently, in Chung Pyung, I have been emphasizing the importance of witnessing. On the last day of the Purification Azalea Festival (May 4), I engrafted Absolute Good Spirits who were talented in witnessing to all members who participated. As I engrafted those Absolute Good Spirits with great talent to witness, among the 320 billion Absolute Good Spirits, to all members who came to the Purification Azalea Festival, and created a situation where each member could stand in the front line of witnessing.

Meaning of the history of Providence of Restoration

In our life of faith, we often use terms such as, 'History of the Providence of Restoration', 'The Course of Indemnity' and etc... We receive grace through the words that we inherit and live our lives. By the way, when you hear the word, 'Restoration', some may think that it is really huge and have difficulty to relate to.

Since the fall of Adam and Eve God lead the History of the Providence of Restoration. We must closely relate to the History of Providence of Restoration. You may feel the 'Restoration' is something that is far or feel rather difficult to do, however, if we reconsider it as something near to us, we can correspond it to witnessing.

Since the fall of Adam and Eve, God lead the History of the Providence of Restoration but that was actually the works of witnessing. That is why, Heung Jin Nim and the other True Children in the spirit world addresses God as the 'Being that tries to do the most witnessing' or the 'Being who has witnessed until now'.

Centering on such providence, True Parents loved humanity through witnessing and tried to make it possible for all humans to live in happiness and joy. If we lived our lives with mindsets of 'regret' and 'it will work out by itself', then definitely someday we will regret for that decision.

We have the responsibility and mission to do witnessing with much effort. This responsibility is not bared on one particular person but to all members who received the blessing. You must acknowledge it and practice it in your life.

'2009 Purification Azalea Festival' Witness Award

You must realize that witnessing is not done in a certain period but rather, 'Thing must be done throughout one's life on earth', and do witnessing with that heart. We, now standing in the position of a new start, must study witnessing from all possible sides and create an effective system so that we can witness greater number. I intend to give prizes to those members who witnessed a lot, during next year's Purification Azalea Festival. I wish for all members to lead the witnessing.
