To commemorate the 5th anniversary of the Chungshim International Medical Center, the ‘5th International Conference for Unification Medical Service’ was held at the International Conference Room at Chungshim Graduate School of Theology on July 19. The conference was held by Chungshim International Medical Center and Isshin Hospital, Japan.

From the Chungshim International Medical Center, Director Sang-hyup Cha, 15 doctors, 10 nurses and 15 other hospital staff attended. From Japan, President Sugahara and 8 other doctors came from Isshin Hospital, 1 doctor from Brazil, 2 doctors from China, and 1 doctor from the USA, totaling 55 people from 6 different nations came to attend this international conference.

There ceremony started by an opening prayer by the staff of Chungshim International Medical Center, followed by a video presentation of the hospital, addresses by each presidents and then the main event, presentation of practices, started.

After each presentation from the gathering doctors, they had a discussion time. Through the discussion time the doctors from around the world had a chance to interact and exchange information. It was probably the best and quality time for most of the doctors who attended this conference and it was a meaningful time.

At the end, Dae Mo Nim gave words. She said, “You must have love and interest when you see your patient. You must understand the patients’ environment, family situation, daily habits and etc.. to have a proper diagnoses. And only then can you find the cure. Always improve your self and develop your technique and become a great medical person in your area.” Then after her words, there was time for taking a commemorative photo centering on Dae Mo Nim with the attending members.

The Chungshim International Medical Center opened in July 21, 2003 and has established itself well through the nation and abroad. Also, after its opening for 5 years in a row it has been recognized as the best hospital for its precise result and examination. We expect the Chungshim International Medical Center to expand even further with its foundation of oriental and western practices as well as the spiritual healing.
