Winning team and its representative giving a lecture

On August 2, 2008, the Divine Principle Lecture Competition began for the members of 126th Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop for International 2nd Generation. Each group had at least 2 days of preparation and each group performed magnificently. Since there were prizes involved, members were serious and it was an intense atmosphere.

Each group had to select a representative who would give the lecture for the team. All teams have 3 teams of trinities, therefore, a trinity of the team would be the representative of the team. A total of 14 teams had to perform, and there wasn’t enough time for everyone to give a lecture on the same day. It had to be done on the next day.

There were laughs, awws and gasps for the lecturers. Members learned many things through the great lectures, and some laughed so much they forgot that they were listening to a lecture. There were many different lectures given by the members.

The judges, Rev. Dong-bae Kim, from the International Office, Mr. In-pyo Moon, International Office, Dr. Enrique Sanchez, lecturer from Spain, and Mrs. Sanchez took some time to make a decision. Once again, it was a tough competition and hard to decide the winner, but it was decided.

For overall competition, the representative from brothers team 2 won the competition where he gained the respect from all and a iPod nano. A special award was given to a brother from team 6 who gave a brilliant lecture but couldn’t have enough time to finish it. The other members of the team received a book, ‘All was Love’.
