2008 The Second Marriage Blessing for the Godly Civilization under the Sacred Reign of Peace - Become Blessed Families who will return Joy and Grace to God!

On October 12, the ‘2008 The Second Marriage Blessing for the Godly Civilization under the Sacred Reign of Peace’ was held at Cheonseong Wanglim Palace (Heavenly Palace) with Hyung Jin Nim, International President of FFWPU and his wife as the main officiators. From 21 nations, 242 couples attended and many other guests came to congratulate this beautiful day.

Around 10 o’clock in the morning, the grooms and brides arrived. The grooms and brides waited for the start of the blessing ceremony, waiting in the Jeongshim Won, having conversations with others and so on.

The blessing ceremony started in the afternoon. The M.C. was Dr. Seong-bok Hong, Vice-Director of the Blessed Family Department FFWPU-Korea, and he also gave the Opening Address. The program was followed by an Opening Prayer by Rev. Yong-ha Kim, Ceremony Address (Rev. Chang-shik Yang, President of FFWPU-Korea), Entrance of the Officiator’s Attendants, Entrance of the Officiators, Holy Water Ceremony, Affirmation of the Vows, Invocation of the Blessing, proclamation of the Holy Blessing, Congratulatory Song, Presentation of the Flowers, Greetings of the Brides and Grooms, 3 cheers of Eok-manse, Recession of the Officiators and ended with the closing declaration.

At his ceremony address, President Yang said, “This moment when you are connected as heavenly couple is the dream of pious people who protected their precious heart and body and also the moment where your parents’ wishes come true, who have thought precious of you more than their lives. Also, more than anything, it is the moment when God’s providence is established that He yearned.” And explained the meaning of the blessing. Then he explained the origin of the blessing as well as the value of the blessing that sits on the foundation of religion, nation and people.

There was a special grace where Hyung Jin Nim and his wife would splash Holy Water to each bride and groom. The Main Hall was filled with beautiful brides and grooms creating a fantastic atmosphere.

For the 242 couples that were receiving the blessing, Hyung Jin Nim said, “I hope that you can become eternal true couple and true family before God, that can perfect the 4 Great Heart Realm and 3 Great Kingship”. He also prayed, “Become true families that can lead the world and become central blessed families that can return grace and joy to God. I sincerely pray that blessings and grace can be given to them and end my prayer”.

A second generation couple said, “We are grateful to be able to receive a prayer and be blessed”. This couple offered sincere dedication together for 40 days before they attended this blessing workshop.

After the blessing ceremony, the bride and grooms took a commemorative photograph with Hyung Jin Nim and his wife. Also, as a special grace the couples took a commemorative photo taking at the Cheon Jeong Gung Museum.

Dear Heavenly Father! The victorious True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Human Kind!

When Heavenly Father created All Things and the universe, we couldn’t establish your wish of an Ideal Family, your son and daughter was taken away by your angel, and walked the 6,000 years with tears.

Heavenly Father! However, True Parents came to earth and fulfilled that Ideal Family and blessed the blessed families that you have awaited for 6,000 years.

Heavenly Father! Your beloved precious children who have gathered here, the central blessed families of our precious unification family, today, 242 couples are here, promising in front of you, please let them become blessed families who can establish eternal true families and fulfill the Four Great Realms of Heart and Three Great Kingships.

Heavenly Father! Let these blessed families become world leaders and return joy and grace back to you. I sincerely pray for this.

Heavenly Father! Through these precious 242 blessed couples let the heaven that you have planned to be built and can create the new Cheon Il Guk before the world, the people, the history, in a new place. We can only be grateful to our precious father.

Heavenly Father! Through this blessing ceremony let us create a new family and new world and create that ideal world that you wish for, that ideal family to be created. Please work through these central blessed families. I sincerely pray from the bottom of my heart.
