‘True Parents’ Language Institute’ - First semester students learning in the midst of Grace

First semester students visiting the Gyeonbok Palace in Seoul, Korea as a cultural excursion

The ‘True Parents’ Language Institute’ (TLI) that teaches Korean through True Parents’ words and ideal, opened on September 1 as an associated organization to Chungshim Graduate School of Theology.

The TLI was built in the Chungshim Complex centering on the Cheon Jeong Gung Museum, a place of True Parents’ sincere devotion, and Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center, where Heung Jin Nim and Dae Mo Nim offers sincere devotion. President Dong-pyo Yang of TLI said, ‘If humans hadn’t had fallen, humanity would have only used one language like one family, and would have lied with true love transcending national boundaries and other boundaries. How great would it be if such world would have been realized? For the realization of such world the TLI will teach Korean, the eternal language, centering on True Parents’ lifestyle, culture, heart, ideal, and words.’

According to the motto the TLI opened from September 1 and from around 5 nations, Japan, America, France, Taiwan, Philippines, of 22 students enrolled for the 1st semester and now are studying really hard.

All the students are living in the boarding house and are receiving much grace through attending the Hoon Dok Hae and pledges. Also, they have a great grace of being able to attend the Hoon Dok Hae held at Cheon Jeong Gung Museum with True Parents, once a month, as well as a chance of attending the holy song session at Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center. Also, within the institute, there is a prayer room and a consultation room for the students for their needs.

The Korean study style is held with small classes of 10 according to their levels. They have selected lecturers, respectful fellow members, and hold study groups for intense studying. Other special programs are held after every day's study, such as ‘Monday Special Lecture’, ‘Wednesday Cultural Lecture’, ‘Friday Movie Day’ and so on. Also in a semester, the students would visit historical places of Korea and learn Korean culture as well.

Recruit for Students in 2009

At the moment the TLI is recruiting students for the 1st semester of year 2009 and recruiting around 40 members for ‘2008 Short Term Winter Learning Course’.

The TLI will have its 2nd year since its opening in year 2009 and is preparing for a better educational service and administrative support system. President Yang said, “I hope that in 2009 more 2nd generations from around the world and church leaders, and future leaders will come here and learn True Parents’ language and their ideal”.

The original land with its beautiful nature bestowed from heaven, the TLI is expected to develop where members from around the world could come to Chung Pyung Holy Ground and learn True Parents’ language.
