2010, Our Ancestors the Absolute Good Spirits New Years Special Celebration Service

On February 14 (Lunar Calendar: January 1) the (old) New Years, one of the biggest event held in Korea, the '2010, Our Ancestors the Absolute Good Spirits New Years Special Celebration Service' was held at Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center at 6:00 am, with Dae Mo Nim and members.

This special service is a traditional culture still practiced in Korea on January 1 (lunar calendar) and August 15 to offer food to God and Ancestors and offer their respect.

This New Years celebration was the first since True Parents proclaimed 'Heavenly Age' where the lunar and solar calendar are as one.

For this special service, 141st 40-day workshop members, 58th Blessed Wives 40-day workshop members, 51st Original DP workshop members and many other members from Korea of total of 1,000 members gathered and participated in this meaningful service.

President Yeong-ho Ha, Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center read True Parents words 'Gateway to Heaven, True Family' (Chapter 1) and said, 'Korean people always visits their home on New Years and Chuseok Celebrations. The home country for humankind is the Original Palace. It's such a graceful experience to be here at Chung Pyung for this New Years special service at the Original Land.'

Every year in Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center on lunar calendar January 1 and August 15, special services to welcome and respect our Ancestors are being held. Aligning with True Parents' words, 'Korean's culture is Heaven's culture', not only Korean members but members from around the world are able to experience this traditional Korean culture.

We hope that many members could come to Chung Pyung to offer their respect to their Absolute Good Ancestors at these Special Services and inherit this traditional culture.
