Start of the 2010 Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop for International Blessed Children!

On July 7, 2010, one day before the 'Convention to Proclaim the World that Family Establishes the Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind' (tentative title) the 2010 Chung Pyung 40-day Special Workshop for International Blessed Children (145th Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop) (July 7 -- August 15,2010) began. At a time of such great blessing before True Parents' important event, Blessed Children from around the world have gathered to Chung Pyung to receive education and be reborn as new people.

Following the successful 136th Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop for International Blessed Children, Dae Mo Nim has prepared a great and exciting workshop for the Blessed Children. This year Chung Pyung has 14 staff with 10 Blessed Children staff and 4 adult staff to take care of the children.

After a brief organization of groups the members gathered at the 2nd basement floor of Chinhwa Educational Hall at 1:30 pm and started the orientation.

After an introduction, Rev. Dong-bae Kim, Team leader of Progress Department and head of the International team gave a lecture for just about a hour about Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop and its purposes. He explained that all members including 2nd generations have fallen nature and bad habits. That fallen nature cannot be removed or liberated in any other places on earth but here in Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center. He explained about the purposes of Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop which are; have a principled life, clearly understand the spirit world, establish True Love and True Family, be a citizen of Cheon Il Guk, inherit God and True Parents' Shim Jeong (heart), Ancestor Liberation and Blessing, and the separation of fallen nature and bad habits.

After a brief break, the opening ceremony was held. Mr. Michael Callahan, staff and lecturer gave an opening prayer which was then followed by President and Rev. Yeong-ho Ha of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center giving an opening address.

'Thank you for coming to Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center to attend this 40-day workshop. I'm sure you have come here with many purposes, preparing for the Blessing, liberating evil spirits and meet with God. Attending with a good attitude is very important but at the same time please do not forget that God is always here watching and guiding you. Always remember that True Parents had been here and prayed and blessed this place as the restored and perfected Garden of Eden.'

Then Rev. Ha spoke for around 50 minutes and encouraged the members to seek their true selves and be enriched with God and True Parents' love and blessing.
