Cheon Jeong Gung and Helicopter Accident Anniversary Pilgrimage

On July 21, 2010, the members of the 145th Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop for International Blessed Children went to visit the Cheon Jeong Gung Museum. At 1:20 pm, all the sisters of the workshop gathered in front of True Parents' calligraphy writing stone and departed for Cheon Jeong Gung Museum. The brothers followed later.

At Cheon Jeong Gung Museum, members were anxious to see inside of the Cheon Jeong Gung Museum. Divided into two groups the sisters and brothers had a guide and were explained in details the meaning of each statue, tree and etc. It was a very special moment for most of the members and they were all following the guide to pick up every single detail.

After a commemorative group photo with the main building in the back the members were gathered into a small hall. There members were shown a video of the history of Cheon Jeong Gung Museum and True Parents. Then there was a time to write a letter to True Parents. A small paper was handed out and members had several minutes to write a letter to True Parents. It was a first time for most of the members to write a letter to True Parents. Some didn't have clue, some had some ideas and some were so happy that they had a chance to write a letter.

After that, members were then moved to another location to see the engraved names for the construction donation for the Cheon Jeong Gung Museum. Lots of smiling faces were seen during this time and some were really happy to see their names.

Then the members were gathered at the cafeteria and watched another short video of the Helicopter Accident. The video was edited really well with testimonies of the members who were actually there on the helicopter. After watching it for 30 minutes members then were moved to the actual helicopter accident site where all got together and offered a prayer. Mr. Michael Callahan, the DP lecturer for the workshop offered a sincere heart warming prayer and then each member offered their own prayer to God and True Parents. After watching the video and then being at the site, members were in tears when they prayed for the wellbeing and victory for God and True Parents' providence.
