Overcoming the language and culture boundary - Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop Birthday Party

On Heavenly Calendar May 1 (Solar: June 2), the members of the 153rd Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop and 69th Chung Pyung 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives had a birthday party on a special meaning full day, the day of celebrating the 49th Day of All True Things and the 57th Commemorative of Church Establishment. The birthday party is a time of celebrating workshop members' birthday and it is also a time where each Hoon Dok Hae teams, Korea, Japan, International, Thailand, and Taiwan gives a performance and have a harmonious time.

With the words, 'The birthday party will start' the birthday party started with loud cheers and applause. Rev. Myeong-kwan Lee, General Director of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center, who came to give words of blessing as a representative of Dae Mo Nim said, 'Today at the Cheong Jeong Gung, the 49th Day of All True Things and the 57th Day to Commemorate the Establishment of Church were celebrated with the presence of True Parents. True Parents are also celebrating this day!'

After his words, members who had their birthday during the 40-day workshop period came onto the stage and cut the cake and were sang the 'Happy Birthday' song by all attending members. After taking a commemorative photo in front of the cake with Rev. Lee, all 23 members received a present from Rev. Lee and had a toast with McCol.

Then there was the time of entertainment where Korean team, International team, Taiwan Team, Thailand team, and Japanese were the order of appearance. The Korean team danced along a famous pop song 'Gee' by the Girls' Age and the International team came to the stage with colorful t-shirts. Thailand team performed traditional dance and there were 3 teams from the Japanese team.

At the end, all members stood up and held hands and sang 'Sarang-hae'. Members of different nationalities took hand in hands and it really showed the hope of overcoming boundaries and uniting as one.
