5100 members attending the Burning Ceremony

Heung Jin Nim and Dae Mo Nim mobilized the Absolute Good Spirits to hold a 'Prayer-Wish Purification Ceremony for Restoration' (Burning Ceremony) in Hokkaido, Japan on September 24-25. It has been 5 months since the last tour that they had done. From True Parents' special instruction and a request from Japan, this tour suddenly came together a week before the event. Although it was on a very short notice around 4000 members from Hokkaido and other participants from the 12 regions in Japan gathered together and attended the Burning Ceremony sharing the grace with each other.

On the 24th, Dae Mo Nim arrived in Obihiro, Japan and was welcomed by Rev. Yeong-seop Song, General President of Japan, and attended a banquet with Rev. Song and other region leaders.

Burning Ceremony

The Burning Ceremony was held on the 25th in the outskirts of the town Obihiro and started from 11:00 am. It was held in two parts, the first was Chanyang Yeoksa and Words and the second part was the offering of Fulfillment of Wishes Papers (Wish Paper) and the Burning Ceremony.

The first half of the program started with a song by a choir team and then the officiators, Dae Mo Nim, were welcomed to the stage. Rev. Song said at his opening speech, 'You must know about True Parents' special instruction of "You must liberate and bless your ancestors until 210th generation". He also said, "When the Unification Church members complete the ancestor liberation and ancestor blessing until 210th generation before December 31, 2012, then their lives after that will happen according to their own will." So I hope that you have more interest in ancestor liberation and don't just think of completing ancestor liberation and blessing until 210th generation all at once but if you do it in each step then through the liberation of those ancestors all your wishes will come true.'

After his opening address, Dae Mo Nim came to the stage and spoke the following words;

'Annyeonghaseyo.

Today, the precious Burning Ceremony will be held. I am sure that you are feeling happy and joyful and also have the heart of gratitude to hold this great ceremony. Not only you but your ancestors have been waiting for this day as well. Through this ceremony, your ancestors past wrongful contents will be expunged from their memories and good memories will actually be made into better memories.

True Parents are offering sincere devotions thinking of what sort of blessing could be given to members on the Foundation Day on January 13, 2013. It really depends on how well have we prepared ourselves to receive this blessing from True Parents.

Please understand that your difficult spiritual problems will be organized with the light from the flame of the Burning Ceremony and please wish so that you could offer filial piety as filial sons and daughters in front of God and True Parents. The absolute good spiritual world is here with heavenly fortune so please believe that you can have victory and please do your best.'

The second half of the ceremony was the actual Burning Ceremony where members who attended as well as Wish Papers gathered from all over Japan were burnt.
