Historical Ancestor Blessing Ceremony for 210th Generation

On October 23, finally the ancestor blessing ceremony was able to reach the blessing of ancestors from 1-210 generation during the '2011 Autumn Chung Pyung Special Great Works'.

Before the ancestor blessing ceremony the ancestor liberation ceremony was held not only the main hall of the Cheonseong Wanglim Palace (heavenly palace) but in the Chinhwa Educational Hall and the corridors of each buildings were filled with members. There were members who attended this outside as well.

After attending the ancestor liberation ceremony for generations 1-210, members quickly got changed into their white holy robes and gathered at the main hall. The ancestor blessing ceremony for 210th generation started at 10:00 am in the main hall. Since the begging of the 1-7 generation of father's side ancestor blessing ceremony in 1999 it marked the first and historical day of blessing ancestors until 210th generation for the first time.

Blessing ceremony in a holy atmosphere

Rev. Jun-ho Seok, President of UPF-Korea, were the main officiators for the ancestor blessing ceremony and were lead by Heung Jin Nim and Dae Mo Nim to the main hall after being introduced by Rev. Jae-sun Choe, Director of Progress Department of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center. After presenting a commemorative video presentation Rev. Seok came to the stage and lighted the holy candles. After the opening prayer by Rev. Yeong-ho Ha, President of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center, Rev. Seok started his opening address by emphasizing how valuable this ancestor blessing ceremony is for humanity.

'Until the Day of Origin, it is the time of partial responsibility of blessed families and True Parents are wishing for the completion of 4 lineages (father's side, mother's side, grandmother's father's side, and grandmother's mother's side) until 210th generation for ancestor liberation and ancestor blessing. We must inherit heaven's lineage, protect our pure lineage and become blessed families who will practice heaven's traditions.

True Parents went to Nigeria, Africa on July 15 with Rev. Hyung Jin Nim and his wife. This visit was a first nation guest visit to Nigeria after the inauguration of Jonathan Goodluck President of Nigeria and True Parents said to the President "Inherit heaven's tradition and heaven's lineage and become the center nation of the world". Just like this, the transition of lineage through the ancestor liberation and blessing is very important.'

Then the Holy Wine Ceremony and the Declaration of Holy Marriage was held. During the declaration of holy marriage members said, 'Yes!' which echoed in the main hall. Then there was the benediction and exchange of the holy rings the proclamation of holy marriage was held. After the proclamation, there was a congratulatory song sang by professor Mi-ran Kim and 5 others who were cheered with great applause by the attending members.

The historical 210th generation ancestor blessing ceremony was ended by 3 great cheers of eog-manse by Rev. Seok after following the presentation of flowers and cutting the congratulatory cake. Many members showed their relief and bright faces after finishing the ancestor blessing ceremony. All the ancestors who were blessed on this day will support us in establishing Cheon Il Guk and will also give us Heavenly Blessings' Heavenly Fortune.
