Moon Sun Myung, True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, Universal Seonghwa Won Jeon Ceremony

On 7.29 by the heavenly calendar (September 15) at 1:50 pm, at Cheon-seong Mountain (mountain where Cheon Jeong Gung resides) the 'Moon Sun Myung, True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, Universal Seonghwa Won Jeon Ceremony' (Won Jeon Ceremony) was held. Around 400 members of elder member, religious leaders, continental directors, missionaries, leaders and representatives of organizations, Korean Parish Leader, representatives of Japan and America, National Leaders, Boonbongwangs and National Messiahs attended this discrete Won Jeon Ceremony. The MC, Dr. Joon-ho Seuk, President of Unification Korea, started the ceremony with the singing of Cheon Il Guk national anthem, report prayer by President Yong-hui Kim, Hoon Dok Hae by Rev. Hyo-yul Kim, floral tributes, sowing the soil, Rev. Hyung-jin Moon, International President of Unification Church, prayer and ended with President Chan-shik Yang's three cheers of eok-mansei.

On both sides of the road as True Father of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, went up to the Cheon Jeong Gung Museum there were many members waving their unification flags and flowers to send their farewell to True Father. There were many members who offered a full bow and offered a prayer as the car with True Father passed in front of them. The members sent their full love as they said their goodbyes.

The holy body of True Father arrived at the Won Jeon and then was situated in his Korean style tomb by President Hyung-jin Moon and Mr. Kook-jin Moon, Chairman for Tongil Group, and 12 honor guards. True Mother never let her eyes off Father's coffin while this was happening.

In his opening ceremony, Rev. Seuk said, 'Today, we have welcomed a truly serious moment that will never be repeated in human history. We are cerebrating the Universal Won Jeon Ceremony of True Father who had victory over all things and became the substantial body of God is now entering Heaven. We will send True Father to the spirit world through this Won Jeon Ceremony but we are confident that Father will be here with us, we will serve True Mother who is in the same position, and as we make the determination of promising that we will live a life of loyalty and filial piety, we will begin this Won Jeon Ceremony!'.

Then after offering a bow to True Parents and the singing of the Cheon Il Guk anthem, President Yeong-hui Kim offered a report prayer; 'True Father had lived his life without any rest since the day of his birth and until his last breath and offered his loyalty to God day and night. He practiced his words and became the substantial body of his words. He made Satan surrender completely. He liberated humankind from the spirals of Satan's deeds and open the path for us to come back as children of God's lineage. I wish that all will come as one and fulfill God's Will as True Father had said.'

Then President Hyo-yul Kim read True Parents' words. He read 'Actually Existing Spirit World' which was an extract of Father's speech on October 14, 2006 during the 5th World Assembly of the Mongolian Peoples' Federation for World Peace held at Cheon Jeong Gung Museum. The speech starts, 'Each person has a mind and body, and a spirit self that is more elevated than the mind. God resides in the world in which we live with our physical bodies and also in the spirit world, to which our spirits are destined to pass on.' And it explains in details of the spirit world.

After the Hoon Dok Hae, the floral tribute and sowing the soil were done by the family members and representatives of each level. It was in the following order; True Mother, members of the True Family, Executive Committee, 5 great saints, religion leaders, representatives of elder member, continental directors, boonbongwangs, National Messiah, Parish leaders, and leaders of organizations. The members of the True Family offered a sincere prayer holding each other's hand after doing the floral tribute.

Then there was the prayer by President Hyung-jin Nim. He said, 'True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, who is the Messiah of Humankind, the True Parent and the Savior, came to this earth with his physical body for over 90 years and liberated and released God. Then, the substantial trinity of God, True Father and True Mother is established and through the children you have completed the true family. I miss your beautiful smile and posture. However, it makes us feel better knowing that you have become one with True Mother and eternally live with us. We will not shed tears anymore as you have departed for the spirit world before the Foundation Day to fulfill Heaven's Will'.

Then, the ceremony was completed by President Chang-shik Yang's three cheers of eok-mansei.
