Unification Church World Leader Special Assembly for the Victory of Foundation Day

On 8.2 by the heavenly calendar, (September 17) at 10:00 am at the CheongShim Peace World Center, the 'Unification Church World Leaders Special Assembly for the Victory of Foundation Day' was held with around 20,000 attending members from around the world. The assembly was lead by Rev. Jun-ho Seuk, President of Unification Korea, followed by the Cheon Il Guk national anthem, report prayer, video presentation, welcoming address and introduction of True Mother, offering of flowers, True Mother's speech and ended with 3 cheers of eok-mansei.

Before the assembly there was a video presentation of True Mother's life.

True Parents was welcomed to the stage by a warm and great applause and all attendants offered a standing bow to True Parents. After the opening ceremony by Rev. Seuk and the singing of the Cheon Il Guk national anthem, a prayer was offered by Rev. Yeong-seop Song, Chairman for Unification Movement in Japan.

Rev. Song prayed, 'We welcome True Father from heaven and will receive the Will of True Mother on earth and do our best in uniting South and North as well as achieving world peace and ideal world. We will inherit the life of True Father's sweat, tears and blood, and as representatives of True Father, repenting our faithless past, we will serve True Mother and offer our filial piety with our utmost attention'.

Then there was a video presentation of 'Moon Sun Myung, True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, Universal Seonghwa Ceremony' and 'Moon Sun Myung, True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, Universal Seonghwa Won Jeon Ceremony'.

After the video, a welcoming address by Rev. Hyung-jin Moon, International President of Unification Church and introduction of True Mother. He said, 'True Mother started from the position of servant of servants to become the True Mother of humankind and also through many internal trials she became the True Mother of humankind.' And then introduced True Mother saying, 'As Eve, True Mother restored all the positions; the lost daughter, younger sister, wife, mother, grandmother and queen.'

After the floral tribute, Rev. Hyo-yul Kim read, 'Let us Inherit the Realm of True Parents' Victory and Open a Future Filled with Hope' instead of True Mother. Through the words, True Mother said, 'True Father is the ancestor of goodness for humankind, he is the eternal truth and owner of the Word. He completed God's Providence of Salvation, King of Peace, King of Kings and at last, completed the position of 'True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind'. He is the first person who had completed the Original Creation on this earth'. She also expressed the 4 directions that all attendants must follow. First, we must absolutely value the tradition established by True Parents as much as we value our own lives, and pass this down to our descendants, the future generations. Second, we must complete the ideal of the blessed family with which Heaven has blessed us, third, as you have received the blessing of being tribal messiahs you must work to fulfill that mission and responsibility until the time that Cheon Il guk is completed on earth. Then for the fourth she said, all of us must create a community based on the culture of heart characterized by harmony and unity, with True Parents and the True Family at the center. She emphasized that we must march forward strongly with the victory of Foundation Day as our base, offer great glory back to True Parents and heaven and give great hope to the world and history.

After reading the speech, True Mother came to the altar and said, 'I express my greatest gratitude to all blessed families around the world who have offered their sincere devotions for the 'Sun Myung Moon, True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, Universal Seonghwa Ceremony' and then said that True Father had prepared a gift for blessed families. She explained that 1,200 clothes with the names of True Father and True Mother for the Foundation Day. True Mother said, 'We cannot stop. Moving forward is the only way for us to establish Cheon Il Guk on this earth.' Then said that all families who have completed this responsibility will receive this gift.

Then the assembly finished with 3 cheers of eok-mansei by Rev. Jeong-ro Yuk, President of UPF Korea.
