Former POSCO Executives visiting Chung Pyung Holy Ground

The 35 members of the 'POSCO Culture Congress' formed by former executives of POCO, a representative of Korean great companies visited Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center, CheongShim International Medical Center, CheongShim Village, CheongShim Peace World Center, CheongShim International Academy and Cheon Jung Gung Museum. The members received detailed information from each CheongShim leaders at each visit and were very astonished by the great achievements of True Parents and at the same time understanding True Parents' ideal.

At 11 am, on October 9, the group arrived at Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training and started their tour lead by Rev. Myeong-gwan Lee, General Director of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center. First, after receiving a brief explanation at the Tree of Love plaza they visited Cheonseong Wanglim Palace (Heavenly Palace) and Jeongshim Won. Most of the members are living in Seoul so they were amazed and moved by the beautiful nature and towards the Heavenly Palace and Jeongshim Won.

Then they went to CheongShim International Medical Center where they were amazed by the beautiful lobby which can be compared to 1st class hotels. After receiving brief introduction from a representative at the hospital they asked many questions about the concept of the hospital. They especially asked the reason why CheongShim International Medical Center was selected by Korean Health and Welfare Department as the 'No. 1 International Hospital with many foreigners'. They were convinced after viewing the beautiful scenery at the 7th floor of CheongShim International Medical Center.

At the entrance of Silver Town, CheongShim Village, Rev. Yeong-ho Ha, President of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center, and Mr. Su-hyong Park, President of CheongShim Village welcomed the group. After eating delicious food at CheongShim Village dinning hall, they moved to the main hall and listened to a lecture by Rev. Jun-ho Seok, President of Unification Church in Korea. This visit was realized through the connection between Rev. Seok (Judo Rank Holder) and Mr. Sang-hwan Yo, President of International Financial Research Institute (Korea Judo Rank Holder Honorary President). Mr. Yo learnt Judo with Rev. Seok's father when they were young and he respected him very much. That is why he had some interest towards Unification Church and was invited by Rev. Seok for this Chung Pyung Holy Ground tour.

Rev. Seok said the following words after being introduced by Mr. Yo.

'Since the late 1970s, True Parents offered much sincere devotion and prayers so that Chung Pyung Holy Ground would be an educational ground for people around the world. There shall be more development here in the future as well. Starting with the Unification Members who has base in 194 nations, former members of the parliament, ambassadors for peace and world leaders are visiting Chung Pyung every year.

Around 40,000 people came to attend 'True Parent of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, Universal Seonghwa Ceremony' at CheongShim Peace World Center. There shall be more and greater events held here at Chung Pyung Holy Ground!'

After watching a video showing the life of True Parents, Rev. Seok shared a testimony of True Parents' constant support for the fall of Soviet Union. All the members were shocked of such great achievement of True Parents. After that the members moved to CheongShim Peace World Center.

The CheongShim Peace World Center which was built by True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, is an indoor gymnasium that is the largest in Korea and can hold up to 25,000 people. This is planned to be used as the construction of Cheon Il Guk Shimjeong Culture and a multi-purpose Cultural Sports institution. It became famous through the 'Moon Sun Myung, True Parent of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, Universal Seonghwa Ceremony' 7.29 by the heavenly calendar (Sept.15,2012) to the world and we expect to have more visits and events held by famous people in and out of the country.

After listening to Representative Director Ha-gun Lee of CheongShim Peace World Center explanation, the group watched a brief video presentation by the central electrical scoreboard. After the presentation, the group asked questions about the construction of CheongShim Peace World Center which was also a point of attraction by the Korean Construction World for its 127 meter long steel frame roof.

The principal of CheongShim International Academy Mr. Chun-shil Lee explained to the group of the school's motto of 'Love Heaven, Love People and Love Nation' with its 'ACG Education'. Many of the members whom had grandchildren at this age also asked many questions regarding the education background and environment.

The final destination of the tour was Cheon Jeong Gung Museum. Following the detailed guide by Mr. In-ung Shin, representative of Cheon Jeong Gun Museum exhibition team, the members toured around the Museum. It seemed like that all the members were moved by True Parents' amazing accomplishments and life achievements.
