Soon Ae Hong Dae Mo Nim's 23rd Memorial Service

On 10.5 by the heavenly calendar (Nov. 18, 2012) at 7:00 pm, the 23rd Memorial Service for Soon Ae Hong Dae Mo Nim was held at Dae Mo Nim's Memorial Hall in Seoul. Around 150 members attended with Rev. Mang-un Choi, Director of Family Department, as the MC.

At this memorial service, Rev. Jun-ho Seuk, President of Unification Church Korea, first lit the holy candle which was then followed by Parish Leader Jo's representative prayer, offering of drinks and bows by representatives of each level and partaking of holy food by Dae Mo Nim.

Dae Mo Nim who was born on February 22, 1914 (lunar calendar) at Pyong-an Buk-do, gave birth to True Mother after receiving a revelation from heaven in 1943, and after living a life of complete dedication and devotion of prayers, passed to the spirit world at the age of 76 on November 3, 1989. Then she received a spiritual blessing with Sun-un Han, her husband in 1995.

In his memorial address, Rev. Seuk said, 'Let's inherit the victorious lifestyle that Dae Mo Nim lived and become members who could serve True Parents and have the standard of absolute loyalty in the remaining 96 days to the Foundation Day'.

The memorial service ended with all attending members engraving Dae Mo Nim's lifestyle of completely devoting herself for heaven and made a strong determination that they will become proud blessed families.
