Q. 1 Would my ancestors be liberated even if I haven't completed the conditions?

Yes, your ancestors will be liberated. However, normally ancestors will not be liberated if you haven't done your conditions. Therefore, Dae Mo Nim has to offer thousands of bows and then look for our ancestors. It is such a burden for her. Please, even after the Ancestor Liberation Ceremony complete your conditions accordingly.

Q. 2 How can I liberate my friend?

Collateral liberation is the liberation of a person that is not your direct lineage. You cannot do collateral liberation unless you have liberated and completed the liberation donation for 1~7 generations on your father's side.

Q. 3 Who is liberated when I apply for ancestor liberation?

The lineage we talk about here are blood lineages, not name lineages. It is our bloodlines that Dae Mo Nim traces back to find our ancestors to liberate them. So when you do ancestor liberation, even if we were raised by adopted parents, the 'father's side' means your biological father's lineage, and 'mother's side' means your biological mother's lineage.

Q. 4 After liberating father's lineage 1-7 generations, my father passed away. What do I do?

If your parent or anyone in your lineage passes away after generations 1-7 were liberated, it is a "Persons who passes away after liberation". You must register and participate in the Ancestor Liberation Ceremony. It is not possible to liberate just by reporting the name to Chung Pyung and sending the donation.

Q. 5 My father is an adopted child. Can I liberate his adoptive parents' lineage?

You cannot do your parents' adoptive parents' lineages. They must be liberated one by one as collaterals.

Q. 6 My Second and Third Generation passed away. What should I do?

The liberation may be done by anyone, but if the child did not receive the Blessing while on earth, the parents need to inherit a special candle from Dae Mo Nim. A prayer condition with this candle allows the child to grow up in the spirit world and prepare for the Blessing. This candle can be inherited in any of Chung Pyung 2-Day Workshops or during Dae Mo Nim's tours around the world.

Q. 7 How do I welcome my ancestors?

For International Members Only, Dae Mo Nim will send our Absolute Good Ancestors directly to our homes. So hold a 'Welcome Home Ceremony' on the 40th day counting the ancestor blessing day as day 1.

Q. 8 Can unmarried people get blessed after their passing?

In March of 2003, Dae Mo Nim held a blessing for single spirits but we do not know when another one will be held. Official Notices will be sent out as soon as we have a confirmed schedule.

Q. 9 What should I do if I had a miscarriage?

In the spirit world Dae Mo Nim found fetus remnants from miscarriages, abortions or stillbirths with their parents' name on them. With an offering of gratitude, Dae Mo Nim can clear these remnants. However, only the mother or father can register. And you have to be a blessed couple, or you must have drunk holy wine or eaten a holy candy.

Q. 10 Can I liberate my spouse's ancestors even if he/she is not present?

For members living outside Korea and Japan, yes it is possible. Originally, you could not represent your spouse unless the spouse 1. is in spirit world, 2. is seriously ill, or 3. is against the church. But because it is difficult for international members to come to Chung Pyung, Dae Mo Nim has allowed international members to liberate and bless for their spouses even if they are not present. But please keep in mind that if you do not participate in the holy song session, even if the ancestors are liberated, the spirits inside the body are not. Whenever Dae Mo Nim comes to your country or continent, both spouses should attend.

Q. 11 If someone has been married more than once or had more than one wife (husband), who will they be blessed to and what happens to the other wives (husbands)?

Usually, the priorities determining to which spouse they will be blessed are, in order:

1. Received blessing on earth
2. Received spirit world and physical world blessing
3. Has a blessed family among their descendants
4. The first marriage
5. The most children

If you know who the other wives (husbands) are, you can liberate them as collateral liberations and Dae Mo Nim will find matches in the spirit world for them.

Q. 12 My father passed away but my mother is still alive. I liberated and blessed 1-7 generations. Who is my father blessed to?

Your father has not received the blessing yet. He has to wait until your mother to goes to the spirit world and she is liberated, or until she applies for spiritual world and physical blessing.

Q. 13 I already liberated and blessed 1-7 generations a long time ago, but my mother passed away recently. Is there anything I need to do?

You need to apply for her liberation as a person who passed away after liberation. The donation needed is a donation of gratitude. If your father has also passed away already, they can receive the blessing after 100 days.

Q. 14 What if a famous person is liberated more than once?

The first person is still the spiritual parent, but they help the 1st and 2nd liberators equally. You can check if someone has already been liberated at the registration window in Chung Pyung.

Q. 15 Can I split the bowing conditions with my family members?

It is best for the person doing the liberation to do the conditions, but if for some reason (e.g. health problems) one cannot do them, people of the same lineage or the spouse can help with the conditions.

Q. 16 What happens to the ancestors that finished the 100-day workshop but are not blessed yet?

They are waiting eagerly to be blessed. This also applies to the single spirits and spirits whose spouses are still living on earth.

Q. 17 I paid too much donation in the past. Can I use this for something else?

What you offered in the past was a donation, and you shouldn't use it for other purposes. You should not move donations. It is money you offered to God. Dae Mo Nim has given you all the grace for liberation and blessing. Donations are a way of making a good condition to support this extraordinary effort.
