'Humanity is one family'

The ideal of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (Family Federation), 'The unity of true families connected with true love and establishes world peace' was proclaimed to the world. True Mother who is the president of Family Federation announced a new start by proclaiming the vision of Family Federation, 'humanity is one family under heavenly parents' on the 13th day of the 1st month of heavenly calendar in the 1st year of Cheon Il Guk (Feb.22,2013).

The Foundation Day is the 'Day of peace and harmony for humanity' and at the same time it is the substantial starting point for 'Cheon Il Guk' an ideal world pursued by Family Federation. In April 2011, True Father said, "Today, this era that we live in, is a revolutionary period where we must create the ideal heavenly kingdom on earth which was yearned by heavenly parents from the beginning." And then said, "Heaven has already announced January 13, 2013 (heavenly calendar) as the Foundation Day. It is the beginning of the substantial Cheon Il Guk and the day of the origin."

The Cheon Il Guk Coronation Ceremony of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind was held from 10:00 am at the CheongShim Peace World Center on Foundation Day. True Parents declared this year as the 1st year of Cheon Il Guk and emphasized, "Let's spread the ideal world of humanity as one family". Around 50,000 people from 130 nations swore for the establishment of world peace with True Mother. Former and current leaders and religious leaders of around 600 people gathered at Walker Hill Hotel on the following day and held the World Peace Summit for over three hours. During the summit lighting of candles of peace and hitting the peace bell were events held to represent peace and harmony of humanity by the representatives of 7 great religions.

'We return all of our gratitude and glory to heavenly parents. On behalf of the 7 billion people of this world, will you the blessed families who gathered here will welcome the new history of 'Cheon Il Guk' and do your best until the day that heaven embraces humanity?'

'Yes!'

50,000 people who gathered at the CheongShim Peace World Center on 'Foundation Day' (1.13 by the heavenly calendar) answered together to the inquiry by the officiator. The Foundation Day is the starting point of Cheon Il Guk, the ideal world that Family Federation is in pursuit. It was the long awaited dream of True Parents, 'Unity of true families connected by true love and create Cheon Il Guk. On this day, at the Foundation Day commemorative ceremony, it became a place to congratulate the rebirth of people as the people of Cheon Il Guk after overcoming all races, nationalities, ideals, clans and religions and shared the hope for marching towards a world of peace.

True Mother entered the center with a holy crown and holy robe, only worn at special events, proclaimed this year as the 1st year of Cheon Il Guk. After the announcement, 'The name of the nation is Cheon Il Guk. The national flower is rose and lily. The national bird is crane' the atmosphere was intense. Crane, rose and lily symbolizes peace and harmony.

It seemed like True Mother remembered True Father who seonghwaed last year. Through the tearful prayer by True Mother, 'How can we be the only ones receiving this grace? Heavenly parents, please protect us until the end,' many members shed their tears.

The stage on this day was decorated to represent and show Cheon Jeong Gung Museum. There were 40,000 flowers of rose and lilies that covered the stage which added to a sacred atmosphere. The attendants wore black suits and white dresses which created a beautiful harmony of black and white throughout the seats.

The finale of the event was held by Korea-Japan United Chorus of around 370 members. The Choir sang 'Glory of Cheon Il Guk' which created a beautiful atmosphere. There was also a performance by the Sun Dance Group which showed the life of True Parents.
