The Family Federation Community which successfully held the Foundation Day is entering a new stage for the completion of Cheon Il Guk with True Parents.
Chung Pyung Works that celebrated its 18th Anniversary on the 1st year of Cheon Il Guk is holding many various workshops for the completion of Cheon Il Guk centering on Heung Jin Nim and Dae Mo Nim. These are; '2013 Spring Japanese University Students as well as Youth Chung Pyung Special 14-day Workshop' (March 8-21), '10th Stage of STF Korea Chung Pyung 40-day Special Workshop (March 11-April 19), Latin America 40-day Workshop, and Africa 40-day Workshop is being held. Since the Foundation Day, according to Dae Mo Nim, the works and grace of Chung Pyung has strengthened.
At this very important time in the providence, True Mother established Universal Peace Academy (UPAcademy) and selected CheongShim Graduate School of Theology as its grounds for education. The CheongShim Graduate School of Theology was built by True Parents after the groundbreaking ceremony in 2001 and for 12 years worked really hard under the instruction of Heung Jin Nim and Dae Mo Nim.
On 1.23 by the heavenly calendar, 1st year of Cheon Il Guk (March 4, 2013), the 1st Entrance Ceremony for Universal Peace Academy as well as the Entrance Ceremony for CheongShim Graduate School of Theology was held at the Main Chapel with True Mother. The distinguished guests were, Yon Ah Choi, Vice-Chairman, World Peace Women's Federation, Dr. Rev. Chang Shik Yang, Chairman, FFWPU-Korea, Rev. Hyo Yul Kim, Vice-chairman, Family Federation Missionary Church and Foundation, Hyo Nam Kim, Hoon Mo Nim, Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center, Won Ju Cheon, aide, Mi Na Kim, Chairman, Wonmo Pyeongae Foundation, Rev. Emanuel Malingo, former Zambia Archbishop, and senior members and other leaders of providential organizations attended this ceremony.
True Mother told the students of UPAcademy to have a public life for 3 years after graduating the 2 year course. The 43 students went through a strict selection process and became freshmen and started their school life with True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind. The students are mostly from Japan and Korea but there are also international members from 8 different nations.
True Mother was welcomed with a great applause by the attendants at 11:00 am.
The master of ceremonies was Mr. Kwang Bong Cho, dean of Academic Affairs, who also did the opening of the ceremony. Then everyone sang the Cheon Il Guk anthem. After the opening prayer by Prof. David A. Carlson, there was an offering of flowers by Gunter Hard and Mica Camara to True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind. Then there was a progress report by Mr. In Guk Seo, Director of UPAcademy. After the student's pledge by 2nd generations President Jin Choon Kim, CheongShim Graduate School of Theology, offered the admission declaration and address.
Then, Dr. Chang Shik Yang, Chairman, FFWPU-Korea, offered the congratulatory address.
'The UPAcademy is built by True Mother with a precious purpose of "Training of Leaders of the 2nd Generation Realm who carries spirituality and knowledge to lead Cheon Il Guk". After establishing the Wonmo Pyeongae Foundation following True Father's Will, this is the first project to train leaders of the 2nd generation realm for the future of Cheon Il Guk. True Mother gave this name UPAcademy.
Under the educational motto of True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind of Loving Heaven, Loving Nation and Loving People, it is a school to create leaders who will build a world with freedom, peace, unification and happiness in heaven and on this earth.
I truly ask you to become members who will follow the curriculum of True Parents, to learn Korean language, inherit and develop the tradition and ideal of True Parents. First, you must learn Korean and Korea culture and become leaders who can inherit the traditions the heart of True Parents. Secondly, you must become leaders who has great understanding about spirituality and studies. Thirdly, you must become leaders who will have the ability to achieve great development and establishment of Cheon Il Guk. For this, I hope that this period becomes a very serious period for you."
Then True Mother came to the stage and spoke words to the students of UPAcademy.
After her words True Mother did the conferment of UPAcademy flag to President In Guk Seo. Then True Mother took a commemorative photograph with the students and completed the historical 1st entrance ceremony of UPAcademy.
